Checking in briefly while Kathey is painting around the corners of the ceiling before I roll it. Industrious? No Sistah, just forced to do this since I opened my mouth and told my church I was having an open house on the 11th of Dec. (Check for brains next time idiot). Thank you for the birthday wishes my bestest friend and Sistah. Mama always said you had the biggest heart in the whole wide world. I agree. Love that picture of us too. I especially love it as it sits on my computer shelf in a lovely frame made by my Sistah.

Daffy is what some would call me for undertaking a whole big room to paint in one day.....on my 71st birthday. Strange Dave, but I don't feel as old now as I did at 21. Thank you for the good wishes.
Enjoy the day anyway. Go do something for yourself. I find that taking some time to just do something for you and not others can make the day more fun.
Thank you Barlow. Yep, Sistah Maggie has been a major task for me since infancy, but Mama always told me that Maggie was headstrong and that I would have to hold her down. It's not easy, but somebody has to do it.
