You went out of your way to discuss an divisive subject with small children without the consent of their parents. You were wrong, no matter what side you support.

I know this woman. She certianly did not do this for the media. She feels strongly about right-to-life issues.
Unless you know her, do NOT ascribe motives to her.
Your accusation is warped and twisted. How could Mrs. Mayor possibly have known, when she introduced the topic to the children on the bus, that events would unfold thusly, eventually affording her airtime and media coverage?
Whether or not a certain branch of medical research holds promise or not should not be a divisive issue. To the extent that some folks insist that it should be, they have their own divisive agenda, which Ms Mayor appears, quite rightly, to have ignored.
