FORT WORTH, Texas -- The 24-year-old Florida middle school teacher accused of having sex with one of her students appeared in court Tuesday for a pre-trial hearing. Debra LaFave is accused of having sex with the 14-year-old boy at least two times in Ocala, Fla.

I agree. My sixteen year old girlfriend was screwing her science teacher. She turned out ok.
What more do you want? She was arrested, right? She doesn't seem to be having much fun. Yeesh!

The Guidance counselor for the tech school kids used to be at the Holiday Inn hot tub every weekend teasing the boys until a few would help her find her room. The Social studies teacher left his wife for a student who then dumped him. Another guidance counselor had a black chevy-van with shag carpet and was caught in mid coitus with a pair of twins. He agreed to resign and got a job as a principal in the Philadelphia School District.
We didn't have teachers like that when I was in school.
Guess I went to the wrong school! When I was a student in high school in the 60's I got caught with girls in my car. I got reprimanded and the girls got suspended. They were tougher on the females (lucky me). Any relations with teachers was unheard of.
Well, she does have that "come hither" look. At least that's what I've been told it looks like.
Why would the kid make a big deal out of this? For most of us at age 14, it was a wet dream to make it with a hot female teacher. I had one in the eighth grade who wore red micro mini's that matched her red hair. We were all going gaga to sit at the right angles.

I had to read your post several times before I realized that you meant 'when my gilfriend was sixteen'... If I am wrong and you really do have a sixteen year old girl friend, something is a little strange!
Perhaps there are different catagories of "abuse"...

The female prosecuter types are maintaining that a 25 year old woman "raping" a 14 year old boy is exactly the same as a 25 year old man raping a 14 year old girl.
Let's see physical trauma, potential pregnancy, hospitalization, forced penatration - yah, it sounds pretty much the same to me.
