Pres. Bush has added another 1/2 million votes since 11/18/04 which was the last time I updated the total. Bush's vote total of 61,711,686 is 11,255,684 more votes than he received in 2000! That's a 22.3% increase in just four years. Pres. Bush has also shattered the previous popular vote record held by Pres. Reagan.
Pres. Bush Sen. Kerry

Have any blue States flipped to red yet?
The link to Yahoo you posted lists President Bush's total as 60,645,844.
Bush's margin since Nov 3 has dropped from 3.05% over Kerry to 2.69%. It looks like my prediction that the margin will drop at the end to 2.6% looks about right. Hopefully, it will stay above 2.5%, so the rounding is up to a 3% margin, rather than down to a 2% margin.
"Have any blue States flipped to red yet?"
No, the only real chance of a "blue" state flipping to a "red" state was WI where Kerry holds a 12,000 vote lead. Other close "blue" states like NH, MN, MI, PA and OR are not within Pres. Bush's reach.
have any blue COUNTIES flipped to Red, yet? Living in a Blue state and an almost red county, these things are iomportant to me...
"The link to Yahoo you posted lists President Bush's total as 60,645,844"
Yes, please read comment #1. The AP total is way behind. AP has stopped updating totals from many states. Just today, the CA Sec. of State website added nearly 130,000 votes to Pres. Bush's total.
Lots of people ignored Rather, Brokaw and Jennings and voted for Bush. The Big Media lost the election after promoting John Kerry all those months!
"Bush's margin since Nov 3 has dropped from 3.05% over Kerry to 2.69%"
Pres. Bush's reduced margin over Kerry is mainly due to CA where Kerry has increased his lead over Bush by more than 200,000 votes since election day.
...and the NATIONAL DEBT rose by another $1,000,000,000,000.00
...and 15,000 more HMONG refugees are on their way to UNITED STATES.
Kerry leads Bush in Mono County, California, by seven (7) votes. (Sadly, this was a "red" county four years ago -- aging hippies must have moved into this mountain county over the past four years.) Maybe there's a few absentee ballots floating around that will tip that county.
That's *Blue Cities*, not *Blue States*, isn't it?
"Good news" bump.
There was a big swing to Kerry in the ski counties across the nation. Odd.
"Kerry leads Bush in Mono County, California, by seven (7) votes."
The vote count in Mono County is officially over. Pres. Bush lost Sacramento County by only 1,100 votes out of nearly 1,000,000 cast.
"There was a big swing to Kerry in the ski counties across the nation."
Pres. Bush won nearly all the Sierra Nevada counties in CA. Mono County is not really a "ski" county. It's full of hippie environmentalists.
I was wondering what the national breakdown was of the Dems, Republicans, and Decline to State, etc. who actually voted this year. The figure I'm looking for is the statistical projection of Dems and independents who voted for the President. :-)
Also a big swing in the windsurfing counties, I'd wager.
Bush got creamed in Yolo Co., home to one of the most leftwing communities in the state (if not the nation), Davis, CA. Just driving through Davis gives me the creeps.
