Mineta should have been the first one out (I mean in 2001), yet he's still there. Why? I've been wondering the same thing. Does he have blackmail material on someone? I don't understand how he's kept his job.

Executive Order November 29, 2004Very interesting find. Coincidence?
Don't know enough about FEMA regions to understand why FEMA directors from Regions 5-8, and 10 would take over. What's wrong with 1-4, and 9?

Borders ARE DHS But airports belong to Norm.

Bush's whole cabinet resigns, but Norm Mineta has yet to be ousted? He must have some good info, w/ pictures, on somebody.
To: Dimona
Really? I would like it as the lefties had him in their sights and it is always gratifying to see such rise in the face of their opposition.

So, I see you just joined to tell us this. Do you know? Or are you from the left planting seeds of deception?

Or is it just a good old all American guess?

FEMA Regions. Basically he left out California and the north east.

Glad to be here. Am not from the left. I've heard it from several different people, though if I'm wrong I'm wrong, but I think Feith will be the choice. And if so, I think he'll do a real good job there.

I hope its Rudy but I don't think so. I'm gonna take a wild guess and I mean wild and say Pataki.

Thanks! Left out the Southeast too--but they've had their hands full through hurricane season--which, btw, officially ends today!

How about Joe Lieberman? He's tough on security issues. Then we get Connecticut's Republican governor appointing a GOP successor to Lieberman in the Senate, getting us that much closer to 60 seats. What does everyone think? That leaves Rudy to prepare for his '06 Senate run against Holery.
