Picture this:

Somewhere in the world, a filmmaker creates a short documentary that chronicles what he perceives as the excesses of anti-abortion activists. An anti-abortion zealot reacts to the film by killing the filmmaker in broad daylight and stabbing anti-abortion tracts onto his body. How does the Hollywood community react to this atrocity? Would there be angry protests? Candlelight vigils? Outraged letters and columns and articles? Awards named in honor of their fallen comrade? Demands for justice? Calls for protection of artistic freedom? It’s a pretty safe bet that there would be all of the above and much more. And all of the anger would be absolutely justified

Amazing... the Hollywood elite are on the one hand stridently defending a woman's right to choose, but will not support the criticism Van Gogh had toward Islamic society's treatment of women.
I guess it's okay for the woman to choose to go have an abortion, but it's also okay for her jihadist husband to beat and mutilate and/or kill her. Go figure!!!!

They are so full of hatred they refuse to acknowledge an atrocity when they see it, even when that same atrocity could be coming to a neighborhood near them soon.

Streisand, Moore, Diaz, Sarandon, Robbins, etc cannot speak out about this murder. To openly show disdain for this act would require them to acknowledge the issue that got this man killed. In doing that, these people would have to admit that they may have been wrong about their position on the war. And we all know, these people can never admit when they are wrong. Somehow, they will find a way to blame this man's death on conservative Americans.

Hollywood liberals are hopeless. Thank God my kids have seen how ridiculous they are.

This is what I don't get. True liberals should be fans of the War on Terror, because we are fighting the very things they claim to be against, religious intolerance, and inhumane treatment of women. If the guy in the White House had a "D" next to his name, you can bet they would be the biggest cheerleaders for what we are doing.

Simple - he took away from them the symbol of their power: The White House.

One of the first tenets of the Socialist book is, Demonize Your Opponent. They have made GWB the focus of all their hate and loathing. He didn't have to do anything more than that.

Hollywood Agenda = anything that dilutes/destroys mainstream American values.
Once they get done deconstructing society and their pathetic attention getting sick behaviour is no longer considered cutting edge, they will have no where to turn but conservativism. They will all suddenly 'get religion'.
(Oh wait, they already do that when they win one of the endless awards they like to give each other. Every one of them suddenly thanks God for making tham so damn cute and talented). SICK!!!!

As nutty as it sounds, how else can you explain such a muted reaction to an act that so directly impacts creative people everywhere?

One word. Cowardice.

The left piles on Christianity over such issues as abortion, sodomite marriages, removing all reference to God in the public square, etc....only because they know that they can get away with it, with no negative repercussions whatsoever.
