Streisand, Moore, Diaz, Sarandon, Robbins, etc cannot speak out about this murder. To openly show disdain for this act would require them to acknowledge the issue that got this man killed. In doing that, these people would have to admit that they may have been wrong about their position on the war. And we all know, these people can never admit when they are wrong. Somehow, they will find a way to blame this man's death on conservative Americans.

Hollywood liberals are hopeless. Thank God my kids have seen how ridiculous they are.

It may be more simple than that. To criticize Islam or Muslims is to violate the dogma and religion of diversity, which is one of the gods that the Left worships (in theory at least) with earnest.

When there is a conflict between people of different races/cultures that has something to do with race or culture, and one of the participants is white or Western, then the bad guy is automatically assumed to be the Westerner. The Left can not even entertain the possibility that there is some other villain in such conflicts.
