thank you for that post.. I had a nightmare trying to get a reply button to respond.. it was a cute thread..
RE: the Pres' choices--and he makes them by considering who is best for hte job, not who will "look" good or benefit the Pres. in other ways. No ulterior motives--jsut what will be best for the country. He IS confident of his choices.
RE: Your computer--someone once told me if it was really slow to log off and then re-connect . . . something about how sometimes you got on a really slow line or something.
RE: getting older and taking longer to get better after illness--I agree (reluctantly, about the getting older part!) but I've noticed it too.
These last few weeks I've been getting nasty sinus headaches almost every day. My headaches usually show up about two weeks after an "event" and there have been several events, mostly good, but even they affect me.
And snugs, you HAVE "earned" your cold, with the stressful events in your life! I hope you can take it easy for a day or two.
.
Great pictures! That little scamp, Barney. making the SS run after him! hahaha. After reading a few posts, I ran to my mailbox and lo and behold, there it was! My Christmas card from the First couple! Now I'm getting in the spirit!
I like the Crawford postmark on my Christmas card's envelope also. Never thought about the red room/red states coincidence. Good observation!
Gretchen, I notice you have been doing double duty posting these pictures and we really appreciate it. Thanks
I took it easy over the weekend and the cold has nearly gone thank you everyone for your kind thoughts.
aren't sinus headaches the pits? I get them often. Take antihistimine continually. I am allergic to so much.
The computer seems to be responding to FR better now. I think there really was a post dinner/pre TV surge of use..
It is still to slow but better. and yes, I reboot about 6 times a day. I do lots of graphics & have too little ram. Am getting some new "goodies" for computer, will be reformatting hard drive & having some changes - including more RAM...
looking forward to it all.
Hi Dolly how you doing?
I have hay fever and allergies but this has been unusually bad. Usually they're gone by now. I'm more allergic to mold and "summer" pollen, then the corn dust during harvest. And usually I do not get these sinus headaches. They're miserable. Must be part of aging, huh? LOL!
Your computer improvements sound great! I'm really missing my laptop. I'm doing some projects where it would really come in handy. Maybe I'll be "first" on the Dose one of these days . . . I heard Gretchen was promising that as a new prize, didn't you???
FReepmail to you.
I have noticed that also. It is probably some kind of relativistic effect.
I think Laura had that sweater on for a photo shoot for Good Housekeeping magazine before the election. A fantastic color for her to wear.
My husband came down with a bad cold yesterday, he's in misery today. Now I'm starting to sneeze.
Good evening folks. WH Christmas card received here today too!
