I think my vote on Nov 2nd will suffice on punishing those who preach violence and hate.
Will there be any distinction between a cleric that condones the faithful to defend there land against aggression and those that issue the "fatwas" against the innocent? Will this also be turned upon itself and include anyone, Christian, Islamic....etc, from preaching national protection against combatants or issuing these kind of "fatwas"?
I really don't trust the UN to not corrupt the original intent to something that becomes a "fatwas" of their own.
The UN has morphed into something that is rather self-indulgent.
The Our Positions, What We Believe In is particularly interesting, if we can believe it's not the Muslim camel's nose poking under the American tent.
"In reality Islam is a revolutionary ideology and programme which seeks to alter the social order of the whole world and rebiuld it in conformity with its own tenets and ideals... ...Islam wishes to destroy all States and Governments anywhere on the face of the earth which are opposed to the ideology and programme of Islam..." -- From Sayeed Abdul A'la Maududi, Jihad in Islam
No thanks! I have no use for the UN or its supporters. We seem to be doing very well cleaning up the problem right now.
a petition is not going to do anything. Jail time, ass whipping, or a bullet will suffice.
A good question. FMCAT will be doing a monthly radio program on RIGHTALK.com premiering on Wednesday, Dec 15 at 2pm ET. Maybe you could be their first caller?
"a petition is not going to do anything. Jail time, ass whipping, or a bullet will suffice."
So I take that to mean you are in uniform and will be putting your own ass on the line going into each of these countries that need your ass whipping?
Big talk from somene with nothing on the line.
And which part of Iraq are you in right now?
Each program repeats for 24 hours and again ont weekends. Soon, you will be able to get RIGHTALK on your cell phone, that may help if you want to call in.
Sounds like Christianity 1500 years ago.
Do you think we are failing? The US has a very fierce weapon of war on the ground in Iraq right now.
Okay, but what is FMCAT. I've been perusing but so far me no find.
Speeding up the reverse Darwinism even more.
On another note, I wonder why this petition isn't headline news? </rhetorical question>
That weapon is composed of the men and women of the US Military and our coalition partners as well as companies supporting OIF from around the world.
This arena makes me leery. The decadent and corrupt UN is involved. I don't trust that organization at all.
There's nothing wrong with encouraging moderate Muslims to speak out against the issuing of fatwas for the purposes of justifying crimes against humanity, while at the same time continuing to kill terrorists.
I agree, I just have a problem with involving the UN in the business. If there is a way to do it without involving the UN then I support it.
