London 29.11.04 | Sources report that this morning at around 6.30AM, 25 police officers raided in Caracas the Jewish school known as Colegio Hebraica. Students were meant to start classes at 7AM. Due to the 'procedure' that still goes on, classes have been suspended. The school is attended by 1.500 youngsters and children.

Criminal-turned-judge Maikel Moreno gave the order to raid the premises. Daniel Sinmack, president of the Jewish community in Caracas, just declared that this is the first time ever that such incident occurs

Allegedly the State television network, Venezolana de Television, has been reporting for days now that the Mossad is behind the assassination of prosecutor Danilo Anderson.

Chavez is America's best friend in OPEC. He is exceeding the Cartel's Production quotas which is keeping price per barrel below $50.00.

Without Venezuela we would be paying much, much more.

I guess the children were known to not be carrying weapons to class, therefore a great target to bully.

Venezuela is a lawless country, as is Cuba, North Korea, and others, wherein the wording of the statutes, is meaningless before the socialist councils composed of the self-empowered regents without velvet robes.

Yes, you are correct but I doubt the Administration will place sanctions on the Chavez regime cutting off the oil supply to the US. Until then, Chavez will have all the money he needs to oppress all the people he wants.

You are completely mistaken. Venezuela, along with Iran, are the only two OPEC states that are producing BELOW their quotas. Chavez has trashed the state oil company so badly, treating it like his cash cow, to finance his soup kitchens and other welfare programs, that it's on its knees and cannot produce. If you read the news about Chavez's trip to Iran and Russia, he is openly demanding HIGHER oil prices. The Saudis are telling him no, but this is what he wants.

Chavez is no friend to US. Right after 9/11 he donated $1M to al Qaeda for doing such a good job--and this while his own people were going hungry.

I believe he'll be overthrown before too long even with the support of the 10,000 "doctors" Fidel sent him to help with the "health" of the Venezuelan people.

Does anyone have numbers for how many Jews there are in Venezuela, and how many Muslims? Wonder what critical mass we are looking at.

About 35,000. Thought to be 50-100,000 Muslims of about 24 million. This isn't a Muslim thing, other than like thinking perhaps.

Venezuela, Iran Presidents Hold Talks On OPEC Policy

They undoubtedly are talking about a lot more than "big oil", too.

Link has recent updates on Venezualan exploits and power grabs.

If this dictator is courting Iran with the abuse of Jews, I think it may be a Muslim thing.

I believe you're thinking of James Baker, not Jimmy Carter. Baker once reportedly said in what he thought was a private comment in the White House, "Screw the Jews. They don't vote for us anyway." The highly impolitic comment, made I think in the mid-80s, did a lot of damage to Jewish/Republican Party relations.

It seems, from what I read, that the muslims in Venezuella have no problems with the authorities.

Communism has been killing Jews since 1918. Some people just have not learned.

Venezuela gives free oil to Castro...has been negotiating with China and now Iran

The commies seem find much in common with the Islamo Fascists...persecution of the Jews
goes a long way in impressing the Muslim world...

Chavez is known by the friends he keeps...

See 48. Apparently a topic Baker and Carter saw eye to eye on.

Venezolana de Television, has been reporting for days now that the Mossad is behind the assassination of prosecutor Danilo Anderson.

If Chavez really believed the Mossad was behind the assasination, he wouldn't be raiding Jewish schools. The Mossad could swat him like a fly any time they wished and he knows it. He's just showing solidarity with his new Muslim friends. He is walking a thin line right now.
