This is bogus, IMO. Iran is trying to distract the hounds.

Sadly, I am getting to trust the Washington Times less and less. They tend lately to represent speculation, hearsay and rumor as headline grabbing facts.

Hopefully there will be a civil war, giving us a reason to respond to the situation and take over the place.

THIS IS THE ORIGINAL SOURCE...NOT Washington Times

IRAN REGARDS SAUDI ARABIA AS NUKE STATE
NICOSIA [MENL] -- Iran has quietly deemed Saudi Arabia a nuclear state.
Iranian sources said the Islamic leadership in Teheran assessed that the Saudi kingdom has acquired access to nuclear weapons and technology. The sources said Saudi Arabia signed an agreement in 2003 with Pakistan for the latter to help the Arab kingdom in both the deployment of nuclear weapons and missile delivery systems.
A leading Iranian scientist and member of the nation's nuclear community has reported that Saudi Arabia joined the world's nuclear club. Teheran University Professor Abu Mohammad Asgarkhani said in an address on Nov. 9 that Iran required a nuclear weapon in wake of the acquisition of atomic bombs by neighboring Pakistan and Saudi Arabia.
In his address, Asgarkhani said the world has been divided into nuclear and non-nuclear powers, or the "haves," and the "have-nots." He said Iran was in the latter category.

Why? The source of the news story is not hidden, and it is accurately reported that IRAN is claiming that the Saudis have nukes.
Read between the lines, the Times isn't providing free ink to those thugs in Tehran, they are reporting a story which demonstrates the lengths to which the mad mullahs will go to try and divert attention away from their nuclear goals.
Make no mistake about this: IF Tehran acquires even one nuke, they will use it on Israel. You can take that to the bank.
Which is why Israel will pull an Osirak on Iran LONG before Tehran gets to the point where they can target Israel with such a weapon.
The U.S. ought to be doing everything possible to destablize the mullahs and their oppressive regime, and encouraging the Iranian people to overthrow their masters. It was because of the U.S. that the Assahollah Khomeini seized power in the first place after that incompetent, treasonous fool Jimmy Carter betrayed the Shah of Iran, who up until his ouster, was THE most solid ally we had in the region, outside of Israel itself.
We have an obligation to make things right for the Iranian people.

As Islam is an Empire, not a Nation/State like the Greek/Roman pattern, I am sure they all have nukes. The Paki's built their nukes out of the French reactor rods given to Saddam, with his scientists and his money. When they sucessfully tested the bomb they announced that they had built the "Islamic Bomb", not the Pakistani Bomb.
Right after they tested the bomb, all the Arab nations began to buy up all the surface to surface missile systems they could get their hands on. Worthless, without warheads, but if the Paki's exported their nukes like I suspect, it all makes sense...
