Garden City, Franklin Square and New Hyde Park all went for Bush.

My hometown of Malverne went for Bush as well. Remember, however, that Great Neck, the Five Towns, Hempstead, West Hempstead, and Valley Stream, among others, vote Dem and have more people. Also remember that even in the towns on Lawn Guyland that Bush won, the margin was quite narrow.

Interesting. How does the vote break down there for Carolyn McCarthy?

Anyway, when I rode through there (mostly Garden City and Mineola) in the month before the election, I was hard-pressed to see any GOP signs, but I saw plenty of 'rat ones.
