Ham Operator Report from the Netherlands

I just had a conversation with a Ham Radio operator in the Netherlands. At his request, I will not identify him here.

He states that the situation there is very tense, with anti-muslim sentiment and violence rising daily.

According to this gentleman, very little of what is actually hapening is making it out into the International News Media.

He reports that Dutch Lawmakers are being heavily pressured by the citizenry to halt further Muslim immigration entirely, to deport non-citizen Muslims, and the jailing of anyone encouraging Islamic radicalism. Mass demonstrations are being formed, and he is personally concerned that rioting will break out if the government does not act swiftly.

It sounds like to me that the Dutch citizens, if not their government, have had more than enough Muslim influence in their Nation. Maybe their lead will rub off on our weak-spined "leaders".

A buddy of mine had a girlfriend from Denmark who said this has been brewing for years in that country. According to her it is easier for an immigrant family from Turkey to qualify for public assistance, especially housing, than natives. What seems to be happening on a regular basis is that workers arrive, get a job, bring in their family, then figure out due to the tax structure and limits of their job skills they can live almost as well going on welfare.

They also figure out our U.S. welfare system very fast and take advantage of it.
