Why would building a defensive shield be provacative? Although the Russian response shows us an important fact of that we might not otherwise know. "They want to nuke us".

You better hope we can knock down whatever nukes come from Russia, China, North Korea or from wherever because otherwise Canada will get a whole lot warmer in the summer.

We never got along (and I tried) but he was a Yellow Dog Democrat who was also a true racist. I despised him for resenting my (actual) diversity of staff, and having the best people hired, regardless of ethnicity.

All in all, when I left, I questioned his morality, since he was so blatent in his racism.

He had to fire me, to maintain his position of authority.
