...I don't like lawsuits like this as they seldom get anywhere but I did enjoy thinking about the discovery process if Kerry sued O'Neill....;)
Go for it, Corsi!!!"Unfit For Command" Author Considers
Challenging Kerry in Senate RaceExcerpt:
NewsMax recently chatted with Jerry Corsi, the co-author with Swiftee John O'Neill of "Unfit for Command" the runaway New York Times best seller that torpedoed Kerry's presidential campaign. Attending a conference in the suburbs of Washington recently, Corsi let it be known that he is actively considering a run against Sen. Kerry when his term is up.
< snip >
Corsi said he has read news reports that Kerry is considering a lawsuit against him, O'Neill and the Swift Boat Vets.
Presumably the suit would be for defamation. The New York Post's Page Six quoted a top aide to Kerry saying the senator would need to file such a suit if he has any prayer of making a presidential bid in 2008. Incredibly, Kerry is said to be considering such a run.
Corsi said he and O'Neill have discussed the possibility of the lawsuit, and both said they might offer to pay Kerry for the FedEx charges to serve them with any court papers.
"Quote me: Bring it on!" Corsi said with a chuckle.
Please let me know if you want ON or OFF my General Interest ping list!. . .don't be shy.

Probably not much chance as you said. The mental illness that envelops Massachusetts every time around election year has not been cured.

He Heeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee:)
'Earlier in the campaign, O'Neill dared Kerry to sue him. "I invite him to sue me for libel," he told Crowley.
"If he was actually in Cambodia on Christmas Eve and Christmas Day, he should sue me. If, in fact, those other five boats, on March the 13, [1969], if they all fled like he did, instead of staying like he knows they did, he should sue me."
O'Neill continued, "If he didn't wound himself with a grenade, causing sort of a rice-fanny wound, and then reported it to the Navy as a water mine - if he didn't do that on March 13, he should sue me."
Kerry was reportedly "enraged over 'Unfit'" and furious at campaign aides for not responding right away.'

Thanks for ping Dave
Where do we send the money to this Swiftie?
Didn't I read that Kerry always just barely won his seat? Corsi might not win against him, but it sounds like Kerry could be UNseated if Corsi got involved.
Thanks for the ping!
