Hundreds of police and federal agents raided a Mexico City suburb on Wednesday night after two officers were killed by an angry crowd. More than 30 people were reportedly held after police with pictures taken in the attack went from house to house.

They are also investigating why the two men were not rescued - despite live TV coverage of Tuesday's events.

The two plain-clothes officers were burned alive after locals apparently mistook them for child kidnappers.

Wasn't Mexico one of the very moral country's that did not support our efforts to fight terrorists in Iraq?

Isn't diversity wonderful? These are the types of people the Left want to import en masse into our country.

I have heard reports that the Police in Mexico are involved in kidnappings for ransom so it is possible this was street justice.

Pretty awful --- if the two weren't part of a kidnapping ring --- in Mexico the police often are so who knows in this case. At any rate --- the police in Mexico are not serving the people and are not doing anything about the skyrocketing violent crime --- so the vigilantes will be taking their place. Mexico will most likely soon fall into anarchy and revolution.

My bet is that must of them are in LA after having quickly agreed to transport another shipment north for El Presidente Fox.

Apparently some have forgotten our own riots in Watts and Harlem in the 60s anf 70s.

Rioters would set fires to draw the firetrucks into the area. Snipers would be waiting on rooftops to pick off the firemen as they tried to put out the fire.

Other rioters in waiting in second story windows would hurl molotov cocktails at the ambulances as they went by to try to evacuate the wounded and dead fireman.

An extra 10 points to anyone who can tell us what they were rioting about.

The Watts and Harlem riots are relevant to this story how?

Why not go back to the New York draft riots of 1863? They're as appropriate as your comparison, i.e. not at all.

I was living in LA in 1965 and it's my recollection that the Watts riots started in response to a traffic stop. I also recall that it was incredibly hot that summer in the city.

I think to justify why millions from slums like this one should be brought into the USA.

I was planning a fishing trip to Mexico early next year. But as I sat on my local lake catching a mess of big bass today, I thought why the heck should I leave the safety of America to catch fish in polluted waters? Would the guide boat be safe and without holes? What if I snagged my line on some lost drug shipment? Would they torture, rape and kill me, then dump me with the fish gutts.

Despite my political dismay, I'll stay in the US of A.

I just would like to say that not all waters are polluted. There is also polluted waters here in the US. Who can assure you that the waters where you fish are clean? And, suppose you really snagged your line on a lost drug shipment. Do you think drugdealers would do anything to you? How would they know that you found it? If it lost how would they know where to keep an eye on? Also, you have to notice something, if it is was a shipment it would end, more likely, in the US since this country is the principal drug consumer. Finally, I would like to ask you what US government is doing in the country to fight drugs? Where are the big names in drug trafficking in the US? Or is it that only little drug dealers do all the job to distribute tons of drugs?

They are regulated. Everyone knows that polluters move their companies over to Mexico because there is little regulation. Because I'd have it written all over my face, as I tried to flee the country in fear for my life! Well, the police here aren't in on it, and the Mexican mafia is stronger in Mexico because they buy off officials. Excellent question.
