I just made the switch at home and love it. It took care of an issue I was having with IE dieing almost every time I did a Google or Yahoo search. Microsoft was worthless in helping me.

FireFox has some nice features, allot of extensions, tabbed interface (excellent for viewing a site such as FR).

FireFox doesn't work with some specialized page coding, however. Some Java scripted things mess up in it. I haven't tried some of the online videos, etc., but some audio won't run on a webpage; rather they require either MSPlayer or RealPlayer standalone to work.

I do like the extension, FoxyVoice. It 'reads' highlighted text on a webpage. Good for vision impaired and for long web articles on FR; although the computer voice takes some getting used to.

All in all, it is a very ok browser. It doesn't load quite as fast as I'd like.

I started using Firefox this week. I feel like an idiot for having waited so long to try it. It was simple to download and it is as easy to use as Xploder, without the stability issues Xploder was giving me.

I had been using the basic Mozilla 1.7 but now use Firefox as my default browswer on home computer. It is great and at times moves quickly. Internet explorer does work better with sp2 on this computer but I will stick with Firefox

I have FF1.0 but dont use it like i should as its not compatible with my windowblinds skinning program .I really like color and themes on my machine and the theme extensions firefox offers are kinda blech to me.I do agree that browsing is faster with FF and I love tabbed browsing.
I use the Adaware SE personal for catching spyware troubles

I've been using it for the last month, and I'm VERY pleased with it. It's the best browser I've ever used, if not one of the best over all applications!

FF is great - but remember to clean out the Download Manager regularly. I let mine go for too long and now it's so FULL that I can't do anything with it, when I click on Clean-up it just hangs. Anybody know how to fix this?

Did anyone else notice that you can highlight a word or phrase then with a right click you can search for the phrase on Google? That so rocks!

I've been using FireFox for quite some time now and I don't know how I ever lived without it. Tabbed browsing blows IE off the map.

One less thing to depend on MicroSoft for these days.

I use it with my new notebook running XP. I see quirks here and would like it to remember more of how I use the Internet, but no show stoppers. Good stuff.
