Haider Ajina sent us his translation of an article that appeared yesterday in the Arabic newspaper Asharq Al-Awsat. The headline was: "Al-Zarkawi’s right hand man 'Omar Hadid' was a personal body guard of Saddam Hussein and brother of the manager of Al-Jazeera in Baghdad. He also led the Terrorist fight in Felujah, and was trained in Afghanistan." Here is the text of the article:
Iraqi security investigators have revealed that Al-Zarkawi’s right hand man Omar Hadid was a member of Sadam Hussein’s personal body-guards unit. Omar Hadid later joined Al Qaeda and was trained in Al Qaeda’s Afghanistan camps. Omar is the brother of the manager of the Baghdad office of Al-Jazeera news channel, which was closed three month ago.

However, we know that this is wrong, the MSM, has told us for a couple of years that there are zero connections between the $oddomites and al Qaeda. Of course the MSM would never "Rather" to us, would they?

The Senate Intelligence Committee Report and the 9/11 Commission Report both cited the many connections between Iraq and AQ.
The Senate Intelligence Committee Report stated that Iraq was providing WMD training to Al Qaeda.
An Iraqi national attended at least one pre planning 9/11 meeting with AQ.
Iraq state run newspaper published an article in July 2001 which makes it clear they knew 9/11 was coming.
Even the Clinton Justice Department was able to obtain an indictment against OBL which cited the terrorist's ties to Iraq.
A federal judge has granted two 9/11 families a multi-million dollar judgement - against Iraq.
During the 90's, the mainstream press wrote about the world's alarm at the growing relationship between Saddam and Osama bin Laden. Old Media thinks we can't look these things up.

What really cracked me up is that in the 90's they wrote dozens of articles about the relationship between OBL and Saddam.
In the months following 9/11, they wrote even more articles about the relationship between the two terrorists.
They must think we can't look this stuff up.
Aljazeera's bureau chief in Baghdad, Hamid Hadeed, has rejected a report in a pan-Arab daily that said he is related to an alleged al-Zarqawi associate...
