I have read political analysis since 1966, spoken with dozens of local and national consultants, and pay close attention to politics. This is a wonderful explanation of what a campaign, in changing times, can do when it recognizes a demographic move before the opposition does.
This example, from the democrat side, also follows closely what I heard from Ohio Republicans, the RNC, and Ohio FReepers, before the election. Anyone who thinks people like Rove are useless, needs to read this paper.

These folks are such freakin crybabies. Did you read this? It is an excellent analysis of what happened and is not a crybaby story. If you can't relate to the feelings of the guy, I suspect you have never given much time to a campaign that was lost.

So you believe that a guy who has worked on a losing race is not worth hiring? By your logic we would have been pretty thin in the Texas Republican Party before the mid 80's.

Following are some of the stated goals of the ACLU, from its own published Policy Issues: Compare those 'policies' you've listed with the stated goals of the Communist Party on this thread and that hair you have standing at attention will surely fall out.

Thanks for posting the link to that thread.. When you see how many members of both houses are also members of the Democratic Socialists of America;(Listed here:
http://web.archive.org/web/20010602181018/http://www.mmcw.homestead.com/DSA.html) and note their voting records and words, it's more than obvious that these people are moving the pieces in puzzle of the ultimate goal which is: Communism.
You have the stated goals of the ACLU, the OBVIOUS correlation with the Communist manifesto, and Congress members committed to obstruct anything and everything to move their agenda.
The ACLU must be crushed, and these members of Congress MUST be voted out.

Bill,
I went to the site as well, and typed POLICY 4 (as one example) in the SEARCH BOX. It returned to me a number of 'hits' of lawsuits and briefs the ACLU has filed. There doesn't seem to be a listing of the goals by policy number (at least that which I can find on this short search), but perhaps emailing Diane Dew (who wrote the original piece) may have something further to help answer your question. Scanning down the list of lawsuits, several fit the Category of Privacy issues. One thought is that they may have recategorized issues for website purposes, and perhaps there was something older in policy formatting that correlates with her references. Just thinking outloud here..

I planned to stop gloating some time after Thanksgiving.
(guess what I am giving thanks for! ~grin)
But if they keep on going on like they have I am going to have to make it a New Years Resolution instead.

''They just came in droves,'' Jennifer Palmieri told me two days after the election. ''We didn't know they had that room to grow. It's like, 'Crunch all you want -- we'll make more.' They just make more Republicans.''
"Jennifer, probably unintentionally, nails it here. Could it be that all the non-procreating homosexuals and abortion loving Dimmi's are falling below replacement birth rates?"
I thought the same thing, don-o! Well said!

*Yawn*
This is a lengthy article, even for this paper.
Somehow, the writers and editors of Liberal newspapers must think everybody spends all their waking moments wondering about all the possible details up to and including the bowel movements of Liberals, who wring their hands and pontificate endlessly as this article shows.
Get on with life, Liberals - if you can, without control over the lives of everybody else. You lost. That's all we care about!

Bouchard had molded an impressive, almost military operation. He took over Ohio from a previous director last April, after running field operations for Bob Graham and then Wesley Clark in each man's failed bid for the Democratic presidential nomination. Keep up the 'impressive' work Monsieur Bouchard!

"We've got the reality"
He didn't believe in the Republican turnout plan. "What they talked about is a dream," he told me at one point. "We've got the reality. They're wishing they had what we've got."

I have to say this....it's a pity Steve Rosenthal is such a lefty. In real life, he's a really decent person. Though it may be hard for many here to see...it's not that our goals are so different...it's the process to reach those goals where we land at an impass.
That said...I'm still so psyched we won!!!!
