This video is not for the squeamish, or for children, it is graphic and violent, there are many dying people shown. Watch, but watch with caution.

The most shocking information here is that French troops fired at all.

Where is the world thugs to complain about this. I wouldn't have even thought the French would go this far without asking us to do it for them.

The most shocking information here is that French troops fired at all.Nothing shocking, surprising or in any way startling about this.
Backing up the French peacekeeping troops are 600 French Foreign Legion paratroopers. I can guess who did the shooting.

I cant tell from that film WHEN this happened and whose troops it was that fired on those poor people. It seems to me that if they wanted to clear the area they'd of first asked them to leave, then used tear gas or something.
To me that is just tragic and early on the folks seemed peaceful. What was that gathering anyway? Why did they fire on them?

you can see French troops firing indiscriminately on unarmed Ivory Coast civilians I didn't see the video yet but I'm sure it'll show French troops surrendering to unarmed Ivory Coast civilians, unlike your claim above.

What do you expect? They're French!
If the civilians were armed, the French would turn tail and run.

France needs to be considered an enemy country. We need to target a few nukes on Paris.

What a contrast to how our guys have to deal with wildly rowdy and violent crowd control!!! This crowd seemed calm and not doing much of anything... and the French open up on them. Kind of helps the US marine's case, who had to kill the Iraqi for fear he might be booby trapped.

Initially way way back, I thought Chirac was just so sincere when he visited N.Y. after 9/11
OMG how wrong was that???!!! What an EVIL EVIL man he is!
