I think this is bigger than just THAT SS agent. Look thru the pics on Drudge, and you'll see that the ENTIRE SS security detail was kept out. Scary s**t.
The USSS agent, by allowing himself to get involved in a slightly physical confrontation, was, at that time, incapable of protecting the President. That is his ONLY purpose in these types of settings. The mere fact that he was impeded shoudl have been a cause for alarm..once he realized that the President was moving away from him, he should have verbally call W back..
