Makes me proud to be a Texan and an American!!!
President Bush stepped into the middle of a confrontation and pulled his lead Secret Service agent away from Chilean security officials who barred his bodyguards from entering an elegant dinner for 21 world leaders Saturday night.

This makes me proud and on the light side the SS agent probably gonna get some teasing but this also concerns me. Why were they separating him and would anything have happened if he had not have turned around and gone back? In a later picture the rescued SS agent looks on high alert and watching their back. When are they coming home?

I think the question should be; Why was the Secret Service kept out?
I am so proud of our President time and time again.
Thanks for the ping.

Do y'all remember the LOOK GW gave algore during the first presidential debates when gorehead walked over to W's podium?
I've seen that look preceding many bar fights in Texas bars. "If you take one more step, I'll knock you on your ass!"
If anyone thinks this President doesn't have the cajones to back it up, they'd better think again!

Thanks for the ping Eaker. How many 'Leaders' of countries would bother to do something like this?
It really shows the goodness of this man [the President] and I'm always amazed that the liberals can't see it.

""He's the kind of guy who would fight a rattlesnake and give the snake a two-bite head start.") I guess Dubya has read Boyd's OODA Loop book, (thinking INSIDE the decision making processes of the enemy) and will deal with enemies both foreign and domestic in a similar fashion.

SHEEESH! I can't believe I read through 700+ posts only to see a video of the event(s) that showed "W" and Laura being the only ones to try to have their own security enter at this door. Almost seems to me the most plausible explanation, since our guys had to know the protocol, is that it was an intentional flap. Diversion, test, whatever.
The only other HOS to enter without a spouse was Putin who maybe had a boy toy with him??? Kidding. Putin's companion didn't appear to be the security type, FWIW.
Thanks for the ping.
