I guess I disagree, people are going to rehash who did what and when they did it. For us armchair quarterbacks it perhaps isn't too important other than not letting incorrect information persist. I think it probably is better to have the correct ID with the correct person.
Others have made assertions of seeing "fear" on one or the other's face. I wonder if that interpretation was based solely on what they saw or if their interpretation was colored 'knowing' who was the USSS and who was the Chilean.
I should add that I agree the Chilean guys were wrong.
It was this one, in the picture below. He is always the closest agent to the President. He usually has his hand on his waist.
I've been watching him since last Thanksgiving in Baghdad.
Fox said his name is Nick something or other. I missed the last name.
He fascinates me.
Not_apathetic_anymore, I don't know that the picture is mislabeled. He might just be a different level or perimeter agent. There are always many agents nearby. Maybe the yellow lanyard means perimeter security, while blue means they are to be physically close?
The lead agent had a blue lanyard.
Time for the Can of Whoop Ass graphic...
I was here yesterday. Any news about those guys getting chewed out?
The Secret Service detail are sure getting a lot of publicity.
Nick Trotta. That's the name of the lead agent. The one in the picture I just posted to you.
That's a great, great story about GW!!!
W Steps up once again. Good on ya, George.
Thank you!!I saw a clip of this on the tube .....
True enough, I don't know who's who.
But from the body language..."yellow lanyard's" grip on "blue lanyard's" collar, "blue lanyard's" expression and hand against "yellow lanyard's" chest - I'm not thinking they're on the same team:) Or maybe they are and maybe "yellow lanyard" is trying to keep "blue lanyard" from engaging with the uniformed Chilean.
Way to go, Dubya!!!
Here he is in Baghdad. They put him in a uniform.
He's at the President's left.
Thanks Texasflower!
Maybe the blue still means a particular level of clearance regardless of what country?
You're welcome! I'm off to bed now, I think.
Have a very nice Sunday!
Did you offer to help him pack and move? BTW, I've read on the internet that New Zealand is getting a lot more inquires from Americans wanting to immigrate since November 2nd.
Well, then I guess I was dead wrong wasn't I? (If you think that's little known or unusual, a search of my posts should ease your concerns.) :0D
"During the 2000 election he gave gore the" Look ", anyone from Texas knows what that means."..
The nice way to say it was "amused dismissal"
_______
Well..yes and no. It means: "You look like a real ass, but if you come any closer, I will turn you into gelding."
