Citizens mobilized to stop ACLU Website seeks to consign group to 'ash heap of history'

A Chicago man has launched a website to mobilize millions of Americans to consign the American Civil Liberties Union to the "ash heap of history."
The ACLU, says the website StopThe ACLU.org, is "relentlessly and fiercely assaulting America's foundations by feverishly working through activist court systems to impose same-sex marriage and remove all vestiges of the Ten Commandments wherever they may be posted."
Nedd Kareiva says his two main goals are to send 1 million letters to the ACLU's headquarters in New York and to coordinate a march of 1 million Americans at each ACLU office in the nation.

I wondered why they were never challenged, they gave the impression of having clout. They knew that it costs a lot to come up against them legally and no one had the $$$ to do it for to long.
They have to have a lot of money to be in court continually the way they are, next thing is to find out their major contributors and go after them.
EXPOSE them and their contributors.
Imagine large groups demonstrating and the press that will get, and for free.

I agree. The only way to eliminate this anti-God cartel is through lawsuits. Hit them where it hurts; their pocketbooks.
A class action suit brought by the many municipalities they've screwed over the past twenty years may be the way to go.

It's an outrage that US laws, apparently passed during the Watergate era, allows the ACLU to collect attorney's fees for makework----Christian-hating cases it itself launches.
That means "values voters" have been footing the bill the ACLU's launching a juggernaut in removing Ten Commandment images, Pledge of Allegiance, Christmas creche and Christmas carol cases, and because they claim they have a civil right not to see the Ten Commandments, a civil right not to hear the word “God” in the Pledge of Allegiance, not to see a creche of the Baby Jesus, not to hear Christmas carols.
They have a collected a huge amount of our tax dollars, a left-handed fundraiser for the ACLU. Congress must repeal laws enabling the ACLU. FReepers can silence the ACLU with a bit of activism.
We need to insist our Congressmen repeal this abusive law that allows the ACLU to get rich on harassing Christian America.
Cut off the ACLU's funds and watch them disappear.

They do great work, and I agree with Liz, we need to go after the laws AND judges that allow them to continue on their path of destruction of OUR civil rights!
But we do! We have prayer rooms in public schools for Islamic students. Menorahs have been ruled to be okay in the NY public schools. No Christian prayer.

Another project FR should launch to stem the liberal tide, is to shine a light on the secrecy that prevails on Capitol Hill, in the halls of our government.
We need to have a daily report----easy to do with the internet---of who is walking the halls of Congress, who is lobbying on Capitol Hill, and for what reason.
The ACLU, and its ilk, operate under cover of darkness. They're like vampires, they fear the sanitizing effect of sunlight.
We need to expose these groups and their sub rosa activities in our government.
