New Yorker and ex-President Bill Clinton formally opened his presidential library this week in Arkansas. An historic occasion, the affair was decidedly bipartisan, with President Bush as well as former Presidents George H.W. Bush and Jimmy Carter present.
These library-dedication ceremonies are meant to focus on the highlights of a presidency and sidestep the areas that could be deemed controversial.
For example, of the 14 exhibit areas, only one is devoted to the at-times sordid impeachment saga. And that, of course, is placed in an achingly familiar context Clinton as victim.

So the mind boggles to learn that the former president, in a pre-dedication speech, claimed, "We have to make a world with more partners and fewer enemies."
Given that his particular foreign-policy model left threats like North Korea and al Qaeda to name just two to fester dangerously, one might think that the former president might show a little humility regarding such issues.
One might think that but only until one remembers about whom we're talking.

The Bill Clinton Presidential library will fail. Attendance will be mediocre at best, if not way below par. The enabler of 911 and moral midget will go down in history as one of the worst Presidents in the history of the United States. His interview with Peter Jennings of ABC News tells and shows it all!!! He has also badly hurt Hillary and her quest to become POTUS, God forbid!!!
contribute to the Counter Clinton Library and let's continue to set the record straight - right in the neighborhood of this overextended piece of cr^p Clinton Liebrary.
I sent them $100 last night and plan to keep it coming. We need to overcome the coverup in progress. We should make all of the contributions in memory of Jerry (Luther) Parks who, while in the process of writing the real history of the Clintons in AK, was gunned down execution-style by the Clinton Arkansas mafia goons in an intersection on the edge of Little Rock a few weeks after the manuscript was stolen from his home.
The library itself looks like a giant double wide trailer...They should write on the side...Bill's Bordello...
Thanks for this link! My husband and I were discussing our donation last night.
