LOS ANGELES — A fight between two Jordan High School students Friday led to a blacks-Latinos brawl that police said may have involved up to 1,000 people, including some gang members who came on campus for the fracas.
The scrap, which reportedly began with two girls fighting, possibly over something that happened yesterday, began during the second lunch period, officials said. Nobody was seriously hurt.

Yes --- to get in on affirmative action programs --- a subgroup of whites had to invent a new race class --- a new minority group. Having an ancestor who spoke Spanish instead of Italian or Polish shouldn't qualify you for special government scholarships and other affirmative action.
We have our share in NM, but the problem has gotten worse with the influx of new arrivals and recruiters from LA, etc...

Some of the least violent, least criminal types here are from the old Spanish-American families --- also the families who came in the early 1900s --- who left Mexico because of the Mexican Revolution don't seem to be much into gang activity and never were. The cholos are Mexican --- descended from a different type --- often directly from the urban slums of Mexican cities like Mexico City or Ciudad Juarez. The rancheros or campesinos from Mexico are also a better class of people.
(pssst), You're giving away the FBI's dirty little secret on crime reporting stats. Don't you realize that if Hispanics were not counted as 'white' there'd then be almost zero 'hate crimes'. We can't have that now can we?

Yup. If you saw the movie Forrest Gump then you saw Bayou Labatre, which is a short distance from my house, they 'pick' (clean, pack,etc) shrimp there.
Oops. . .and by the way, my brother and I were up north and stopped to visit an old college roommate of his. . .a lefty "multicultural director" for a small college. This guy has a PhD from Texas Woman's Univ (it figures). Anyway, his dissertation was on Hispanic and Black hate crime. . .you know, studying Hispanic and Black conflicts/hate crimes. I'm not kidding when I say this yahoo had never even read the FBI guidance and never saw the form. . .of course, that means he had no idea about the impeached data. What a moron. He commented on how little hate crimes are committed by Hispanics, whereas Blacks commit much more hate crimes against Hispanics. And this guy is an "expert" on Hispanic/Black hate crimes??

Just reading this thread brings back memories. 1970's. A Torrance HS vs Locke HS. I was on the band/pep squad bus. I don't remember who even won the game; all I remember is being told to hit the floor on the bus. It was pretty scary for all of us. They were throwing God knows what at the buses, and breaking all the windows. The LAPD escorted us onto the freeway. Someone commented(yelped), that we needed Sherman tanks, not cops.
This crap has been going on forever. Let them kill each other after the innocent ones have been removed...

Naturally it could be concluded there would be more "Black On Hispanic" hate crimes since 'Hispanic' is variable term used to skew numbers any way some expert sees fit.
And as Hispanics are classified "White" (where convenient) it would follow that this 'expert' found "Hispanics" commit very little crime.
It's the same with a gazillion other gubmint stats, from Prison populations to "Whites" on welfare. Any time they can jiggle the race classifications to make blacks and 'other' minorities feel good, they do it.
But they're almost compelled to do it.
After all, what would the public, aka We The People, do if the TRUE figures were reported - that minorities et al, make up 90% of Prison populations, commit 95% of all crime, are 99.67% responsible for illegal drugs, and TAKE 80% of all gubmit funds. 'We' might just not stand for it and really tell the 'diversification pimps' to take a hike - to put it nicely.
And as another poster put it, this whole 'Hispanic' stuff is nonsense. To call some 100% Mayan a Hispanic is ridiculous. The same with any other Mexican who now has .0001% blood from some distant relative from Spain. In short, there is no Spain in Hispanic. (plus none of them are from Hispaniola!)

I don't know where your neck of the wood is, but it happened in So. Oregon. I had to sell my home of 30 years because a beautiful neighborhood became Little Tijuana. My property value fell $50,000.00 in 3 months.
They need to go back to the past and have disciplinary schools. The alternative schools let the kids go to school for minimum of time, and still graduate. My daughter (resides with mother) goes to school for an hour and a half, four times a week (the minimum). Fridays off of course, and they can slip in anytime of the day. Now that is what I call GOOD for discipline. They need schools that have DI types, with mandatory attendance, for longer hours with of course stricter rules. Why reform, if things get easier for those that misbehave?

This is a point I think most Americans do not understand. The invasion of people from over the border these days are not rural, agricultural peasants or even the Zapatistas who fought to keep their lands. They are from the city slums,who for generations have learned only to lie, cheat and steal to survive. That doesn't change because of a trip across the border.
Our home wasn't within the city limits, either, it was all 2 acre lots. The dozen or so illegals in the house across the street wouldn't use the 2 acres except to raise goats and fighting chickens and build shacks all over it. They stood in the street, blaring their music, 24/7 and hung laundry all over the front fence. The deterioration of that beautiful piece of property in 3 months was amazing. My daughter built a new home next to it (before the illegals moved in) They lost $100,000.00. It really destroyed the finances of our entire family. The young ones could speak English...they went to school. They told me how they hated being in the country....they prefer the city.
