I know many Northern cities are very segregated. ... Texas is not a so prone to racial tensions.

That's not entirely true. How many Black folks do you find down in the Valley?

I made another post saying that Texas is not free of racial tensions. Almost zero Blacks in the Valley. There will be racial tensions anywhere in America. Some areas are more prone to it then others. The Valley is mostly Hispanic, especially near the border. Speaking of that, some are the poorest in the nation. Some are like Third World nation. In fact, they are the least racially diverse at 99 percent Hispanic. Some parts of Houston is overwhemingly Hispanic, Black, White, or Asian. Houston is segregated, but not as some other cities I know of.
