Gravity: It's not just a good idea.......it's the law!
Good morning.
" He was just a rookie trooper and he surely shook with fright, as he checked out his equipment and made sure his chute was tight.
He had to sit and listen to those awful engines roar and he ain't going to jump no more..."

To all of you:
I will try to keep this brief. I registered here only to say a few words about my late brother-in-law, sister and nephew.
I hate that I found this page on your site, but I am not and have never been opposed to free speech.
Erich was one of the greatest men I ever knew. He loved my sister Gretchen and nephew Max with all his heart, and treated the both of them accordingly. He was a self-made businessman, former Navyman, and possibly the most energetic person I have ever met. To call him stupid or foolish is a disservice to all who were touched by his presence in their lives.
We all miss Erich. He died doing what he loved. We will never know what caused him to pull his chute low. It doesn't really matter. We will never, EVER forget him or his smile. It made Thanksgiving hard to spend without him.
Shame, shame on all of you for treating this like some kind of moron stunt. I hope that someday in your life you can live as fully and passionately as Erich did. I would expect any of you to give your life for what you love. Please try to consider that in the future.
Thank you for your time and patience.
Jeez, I'm getting vertigo just looking at the pic...
The necro-troll is back!
Darwin award?
It WAS a moron stunt!
Nope. He reproduced first.
He added couple of feet of rope for safety....
Your brother knew the risk. And anyone who buys the farm in such activity will inevitably be the butt of jokes, the Darwin Awards being the most notorious. This isn't like some innocent person driving down the road and getting T-boned by a drunk driver. For your brother, the risk, the chance of death was part of the adrenaline rush. And that came with a very high price in the end.
This is our pet necro-troll. Whenever we have a thread about some moron doing something stupid and getting killed, s/he/it shows up, claiming to be a close relative of the decedent, and berates us.
Appears?
And they let these people carry guns?
Shame, shame on you for wasting our time and patience.
Title music, by Bernard Herrmann, from the movie of that name.
(Best not to look down).
I've seen that before and it still makes me a bit dizzy.
"Have you ever seen such CRUELTY?"
