After two weeks of watching the Left melt down, I have come to one conclusion:
My head hurts.
They no longer make sense in any liberal sense. I remember liberals; we called them "hippies". They still exist in some parts of the country - ambling, gentle dinosaurs who believed in openness, tolerance, equality, spending money, and a little free love. The voices I've heard coming from the left this week sound nothing like liberals "hippies" - they sound more like SpaceGhost's Brak screaming incomprehensibly to "Metalhead". The only difference is, Brak actually has some joy in his caterwauling, and the Left has only hate.
Let's play a game - HIPPIE or HATER? I'll provide a viewpoint, and you tell me who holds that viewpoint - a HIPPIE, or a HATER. You may not choose any other answer except HIPPIE - in the traditional liberal sense of openness, inclusion, and flowerchilding - or HATER. Ready?
1. A black woman is not qualified to be Secretary of State - even though she is a Doctor of Political Science and served as a foreign policy advisor under two Presidents of the United States.
2. Children with physical or mental challenges should be killed.
3. States that voted for the losing candidate in an election should secede from the union.
4. Members of certain religions should not have the right to vote.
5. Men may murder and butcher women for religious reasons.
Okay, let's look at your answers, class. Wow, it looks like "HATERS" all the way! Why, if I put this in front of some Northeastern Liberals, and I labelled it "1935", they'd say these were the murmurings of those Red Necked Southern Racists, the ravings of the Ku Klux Klan.
But this is 2004; these are the viewpoints of Democrats - the lunatic rantings of the Left. Oh, then it's totally acceptable to those who call themselves "liberal"! But that makes sense, considering that the Democrats were the original party of the Ku Klux Klan. I suppose the Leftists just rooted out that lingering seed of hatred and nutured it into a crop of racist, radical hate agendas.

Hippies have always been haters.
A lot of them actually subscribe to a near Nazi-like ideology, and others, merely to communism... bloody revolution and all.
It is the lies, hate-mongering and fear-mongering of the rats that has left their sheeple in their current state of despair.

But yes, I actually knew people who were liberal, and they were hippies, and they were pro-life. Gentle, strange weirdos that wouldn't hurt a fly. You could steal their car, and they'd just go "oh, share the love. Man, I feel your vibe is negative. Jesus loves the poor, dig?"
They were so strung out on weed, tho', that they couldn't get enough ambition togethere to tell the rest of us how to live. They were kinda fun.

The left is a bunch of drugged up idiots, who subscribe to Communism, Nazism, and radical environmentalism.
Also, I forgot, they are in league with Muslim terrorists since both hate America, Christians, Jews, capitalism, and freedom. I think, leftists, Communists, Nazis, and Muslims share the same goals.

I had one of the leftist hippies tell me that the problem with the world was the dillution of the gene pool. She expounded that because medicine is allowing people who would otherwise die before passing on their "bad" genes the gene pool was being diluted. Her answer was to do away with these people before they propagate. She was serious. She went to medical school and I suppose finished. That is a mindset in many,not all, in medicine. The left will allow for appropriating death as a useful tool in many instances and there is not a moral resistance to it. I believe enough people finally saw this and the homosexual agenda being aggresively propagated that finally woke up what Nixon refered to as the silent majority. The left has a profound culture of death underpinning a lot of its tenants.
Which party hates America so much that its party members actively *cheer* and encourage the deaths of American soldiers in Iraq?
Which party hates America so much that it wants Americans to embrace an environmetal treaty so restrictive that it would plunge Americans into mass joblessness and poverty?
