PETA Protests Thanksgiving at U of South Carolina

I could not help but take these pictures of these idiots from PETA. Their message was simply that Thanksgiving results in the murder of thousands of innocent turkeys, and the way in which we kill turkeys is inhumane. I put the pictures on my website because I kept having problems pasting them on FR.

I think you're on to something... maybe all us FReepers should take pictures of our turkey carcasses after our Thanksgiving dinners are over & send the pictures to PETA(or maybe even send the carcasses themselves!)

I was going to try to cut back on how much I eat at Thanksgiving dinner this year, but now I'm definately going back for seconds on the turkey and I'll raise my fork in salute to PETA! Reckon that will piss 'em off?

I used to hunt over in the NE Kingdom in VT when it was a free state, a deer or three ment that daddy didn't have to take to the woods when the social worker came around. I used to buy a half a dozen turkies for my hunting partners, natives, so that they would know what it tasted like, I hate turkey.

That's in the Mosaic Law. It only applied to the Jews. Does this woman go to the temple to give offerings in atonement for sin? Does she have a bathroom? The law specified going outside the camp and burying excrement in the ground, after all.

I asked the guy if voted for Cobb, but he did not know who he was. In addition, he did not know that the Green Party's main focus was the environment.

Round up 7 of your friends, go buy several turkey legs and start munching them in front of their faces. When they get pissed and assault you (and they will) sue Peta into oblivion then donate the money to Hormel!

Wouldn't worry, as Christians, we're no longer under the Mosaic Law. God told the apostle Peter to "kill and eat", showing him all sorts of "unclean" animals. All things were made clean. Nothing to worry about...

Well, a Deer or three meant we ate good over the winter - except for that one year when one of my neighbors cows came over to our yard (for about the 100th time) and the neighbor refused to come get it. "Aw, just let her be. She'll come home eventually..." he would say.

Finally I got fed up because I was the one who always had to clean up the lawn after it spent hours grazing, pooping, grazing, pooping etc... I will never forget the look on my parent's faces when I stepped outside, walked up to the cow and shot it in the head. Thud.

It was nice to have something besides venison, duck, trout, bass, turkey etc... for a change, let me tell ya.

Picture if you will - a 1/2 pound hamburger with Canadian bacon, a slice of smoked turkey, and a nice thick piece o' country ham, seasoned with Old Bay and plenty of teriyaki sauce.

I call it my PETAburger. Dare I copyright it??

I had a buddy that lived in Victory Mills, Vt, had five kids and little income, I shot an eight pointer and signed the deer over to him after taking the rack. I came back a couple of weeks later and saw five hanging in his shed, good shot Willy said he, LOL.

Later that spring he got a job on the town roads clearing brush. Jumped a deer(Doe) along side of a stream hopped on its back and cut its throat, the meat was black as sin, his wife made the best onion stew with it I have ever tasted, the meat fell apart.

Of course the PETAphiles never talk about all of the little beasties- rodents, bugs,etc- killed in the production of grains, vegetables, and fruits!
