WSJ executive Washington editor Al Hunt joins Bloomberg News in January as managing editor for government reporting. "In his 39 years at the Journal, Al has been cited as 'Washington's most trusted reporter,' and "most dynamic bureau chief' before he turned to commentary and TV as a columnist and anchor," writes Bloomberg News editor-in-chief Matt Winkler.

Has he forwarded a change of address form to the DNC so he will still get his instructions.

A couple of months ago I swore I would never read the WSJ until they fired this moron.
I guess this voluntary departure is good enough for me. LOL.

Hunt is worhtless. His opinions and ideas are old and debunked.
Disagree. Al Hunt is on the leading edge of progressive thought relative to .... old Europe! hahahaha

Washinton's most trusted reporter? Trusted by whom? Everyone. You could always trust that Al Hunt would take the DNC's talking points email, remove the bullets using MS Word, copy, paste and weave it all into a weekly column.

Actually, no. I never liked Al. I thought his editorial column was way over the top. But never have I seen his opinion on page 1. Most of the editorials were reasonably conservative anyway. Only Al's was liberal to the max.
But when it comes to the news, the WSJ has been very professional in sticking to the facts and during their durndest not to slant the news. IMHO, it is the best newspaper in the country (and the best written).

Did he jump or was he pushed?

Good riddance. Al Hunt was an embarrassment even to the liberals.
To: GeneD
Finally!!! Praise the Lord!!!
Al Hunt is a big biased blowhard liberal and I am surprised it took the WJ this long to get him out of there. He belongs with his own type amongst all the other Bloomers.
