Good work!
Thank you for posting this. I saw something similar once before and didn't save it. I'm not going to make the same mistake again.
A stunning testimony to the benefits of modern technology in arms, armor, command-and-control, and trauma medicine. We have way more men in the field than in the early wars of the Republic, our enemies have weapons far deadlier than the cannon and musket deployed by the British, and yet the number of deaths per day is down there with the War of Independence and the War of 1812.
most of the credit of lowering the KIA rate is the MEDICINE & CORPSMEN who without, all the medicine in world would have been useless!
We would be even lower if we can totally remove LAWYERS from the USA.
Thank you for the good information.
Still, the war on terror is a new style of war and comparisons are not one to one.
Now, we are stalking a dangerous foe. The contacts of mass groups are few and far between. When it happens as in Fallujah, the KIA count goes up. As we are in a long war where the will of the nation is being tested, even a low number of our war dead weigh heavy on our minds.
We must steel our wills, honor our dead and wounded and not shirk from the task of defeating those who would take our freedoms away for us.
Thanks
Thanks, I was tired of hearing how many of our troops have been killed, and having it look like the numbers were soo high.
