Family groups and state lawmakers say "gay-straight" student clubs in the region some even are operating at middle schools promote homosexuality and encourage teens to be sexually active. Students in Virginia, Maryland and the District have formed dozens of such school clubs in an attempt to foster tolerance. The formation of these cl

But their beliefs, habits, and practices should not be respected.
They can and should be respected as souls who really belong to God, but have seriously misused their God-given free will.
Respecting and caring about others also includes telling the truth, and not just saying "there, there, you're fine as you are" when it is not true.
Once again, this article is more fuel for our homeschooling fire.
Thanks I will check it out...!
Young people, teens, parents *MUST* be informed of what sicknesses, debilitations and fatal consequences will attend the unsafe, unsanitary practice of regular anal sex. Sorry to be so graphic...
No need to apologize for being so graphic -- GLSEN, PFLAG, and other homosexual organizations certainly make no apologies about the graphic materials in their recommended reading lists and conference teaching materials:
An excerpt from "GLSEN Encourages Teens In Anal SEX "Don't give up.""
"The following quotes are from three Alyson publications recomended to teens by GLSEN: Young, Gay and Proud!, One Teenager in Ten, and Two Teenagers in Twenty...
These books are in middle and high schools around the nation. Adults, real adults, have a responsibility to inform themselves about whats going on in public schools we fund. It is criminal to allow these people to educate our children on matters of sexuality! The children are depending on us to protect them. Please pass this information on to parents and other concerned adults.

...If this presents a realistic look into the life of a child struggling with same sex desires then these children are seduced/molested at an alarmingly high rate and engage in dangerous/abusive sexual activity at a very young age. What's worse is that the adults who purport to care most about them (the editor of this book for example) present this sexual abuse as if they were tender "coming of age" stories. As if the children struggling with same sex desires are showing how healthy they are by engaging in sex with adults and by having sexual encounters regularly beginning at a very young age."Doing it: Gay men...Many people don't know the anus is not only an organ to remove waste. It's very sexually exciteable...Your first few times having anal sex might be a little hard. You may have to practice a bit before it starts feeling really good. I sure did." (pg. 81)
And, the message is clear, if "straight" kids don't want to be closed-minded, if they want to be "open" and "free" they'll mimic the homosexual sexual behavior and promiscuity related in these books.
In several stories intense sexual activity as a child is presented as normal and healthy, even child/adult sex is presented without question. Five and six year old's who regularly engaged in sex are described as children "who were willing" to explore their sexuality "to it's fullest extent." Many stories fondly recount a youthful sexual encounter with a much older man or woman. Sexual promiscuity and engaging in sex as a child/teenager is presented as "sexual freedom".
Heterosexual or "questioning" youth are encouraged to try same sex intercourse because, the Kinseyin theory is repeated over and over, "Everyone's really gay or bisexual." and "You won't know if you like it until you try it."..."
Listen to Mass. Depts of Education and Health instruct children on the mechanics of homosexuality.
"On March 25, 2000 the Massachusetts Departments of Education and Health teamed up with the national gay and lesbian group GLSEN (Gay, Lesbian, Straight Education Network) and conducted a conference for school children and educators. The conference was held under the guise of tolerance and safe schools. However, as the Parent's Rights Coalition discovered, this conference was about teaching children the unsafe mechanics of homosexuality. Following the conference, organizers denied claims of misconduct made by the Parent's Rights Coalition. Organizers were forced to concede the truth after the Parent's Rights Coalition made public an audio recording from the conference, which substantiated their claims..."

PFLAG, GLSEN Feature Child Sexual Abuse in Materials
By Linda P. Harvey
Warning: Graphic content follows.
"It's scandal in the Catholic Church, but according to several groups that "support" homosexual teens and their parents, sex between a young teen and an adult is just an expected part of the growing up process.
In a long-term study of materials recommended for reading by Parents, Families and Friends of Lesbians and Gays (PFLAG), and Gay, Lesbian and Straight Education Network (GLSEN), we found numerous stories and episodes of adult-teen homosexual sex. Incidents are treated at times in a neutral fashion, or too often, in a positive light -- as if such abusive relationships are natural, normal and even an advantageous "coming of age" step in the lives of "gay, lesbian, bisexual and transgendered" youth.
Both GLSEN and PFLAG are activist groups that promote acceptance of homosexuality, bisexuality and cross-dressing even in elementary schools. They help students organize homosexual clubs with or without parental knowledge; advocate job protection for openly homosexual teachers and ministers; and attempt to partner with schools and churches. Both groups have taken political stances in favor of "gay" marriage and against the Boy Scouts' moral beliefs on homosexuality.
As an example of the kinds of resources recommended, the book "Two Teenagers in Twenty" (Edited by Ann Heron, Alyson Publications, 1994) is recommended by both PFLAG and GLSEN for teens to read. It's a compilation of true first-person "coming out" stories, ostensibly written by teenagers. In the book, one boy relates that he has a 23-year-old lover, a homosexual man he met at a subway stop. The boy telling the story is 15 (p. 81). Another boy who is 17 has a 32-year-old male lover (p. 91).
Another book for teens, "In Your Face: Stories from the Lives of Queer Youth" (Mary L. Gray, Harrington Park Press, division of Haworth Press-1999) is recommended by PFLAG in both its youth and parent brochures, and is available for purchase on the GLSEN web site, www.glsen.org . In this book, one pathetic story relates an 18-year-old boy's molestation by his mother's boyfriend who later became his step-father, beginning when the youth was ten. He informed his mother, but she didn't intervene. However, the boy's recollection is that the step-father "'didn't want a relationship; he just wanted to use me for sex'. I don't consider what my stepfather did to me child molestation, even though it was really. I consider it to be rape. That wasn't my first sexual experience, so I'm not scarred by it or anything." (pp.37-38)
In another incident, a boy named Todd recalled having a 25-year-old male sex partner when he was 16. They met when the boy went to the Sonoma County "gay" youth group (pp.58-59). He shortly began a different relationship with a 27-year-old male, a friend of the first partner (p.141). In another incident, a 15-year-old girl goes on a date and kisses an older lesbian, the person who had checked her in at the local homosexual youth group (pp.139-140).
A novel called "Rainbow Boys" (Alex Sanchez, Simon & Schuster, 2001) is recommended by PFLAG in its youth brochure and is available for purchase on the GLSEN web site. In this book, three teen boys are featured as they explore homosexual relationships with each other and others. Besides numerous graphic scenes of masturbation, sex between homosexual teen boys, and a bisexual boy and his girlfriend, a 29-year-old "meets" a 17-year-old in an online chat room (p.112). They eventually go on a "date" and teen readers are treated to an explicit sex scene involving anal intercourse without a condom. This takes place in the apartment of the adult man, cheating on his live-in lover who is out of town (p. 148). The younger boy is then worried about HIV, but tests negative. As the book closes, this same boy begins a relationship with a 19-year-old college student who's HIV positive (p.222) where sex is not involved - so far.
To add to the implied endorsement of PFLAG, the boy mentioned above has an absent father but lives with his mother- who is an officer of the local PFLAG chapter! In and around all of her son's sexual exploits, the mother comes and goes to PFLAG meetings.
The author of "Rainbow Boys", Alex Sanchez, was invited to speak this past spring (2002) to a "gay" club at Murphy Junior High School in Stony Brook, New York. (We are not making this up.) This club was allowed to organize after members of the local high school "gay" club visited the junior high on "Diversity Day." The book had been recommended to the sixth, seventh and eighth graders to read prior to the author's visit. The Murphy club is believed to be one of the few middle school homosexual clubs organized so far in the U.S. There are reportedly over 1000 high school "gay" clubs.
In the book "Growing Up Gay/Growing Up Lesbian: A Literary Anthology" (Edited by Bennett L. Singer, New Press, 1994) is an episode that might have been written by a pedophile. A boy raised by two gay men describes his first experience of anal intercourse with a man he guessed to be around 30 years old. The youth himself was 15 at the time(p.111). The boy claims he initiated it. He had already had previous homosexual experiences beginning at age eleven (p.110). This book is available for purchase on the GLSEN web site, and is recommended by PFLAG in its parent brochure..."
