I got one of these emails and was fooled into giving over some of my info. The page looked like it was an ebay page. It's really did. Well, after filling it out, I got a little suspecious and contacted ebay. I was able to change all of my passwords within a few minutes. Believe me, it's easier to get fooled by these people. I'm a computer engineer and I was fooled for a moment.

I get about five a week from Ebay impersonators. I just shuttle them over to spoof@ebay.com.

I did have to change my screenname because Ebay said it was getting me too many of those things. Can't see where it's made a lot of difference. These scammers are really creative though. They are really brazen .

I received a supposed ebay email about 2 weeks ago. It didn't look right & I forward the e-mail directily to the ebay spoof site. It wasn't from them so the crooks didn't get any personal info from me.

I got the eBay spoof message too. The way I caught it first was when I moused over the link that said "https://ebay.xxxxxx" I noticed at the bottom of my browser was showing a strange URL in the UK. I viewed the HTML source and sure enough, all the links were not what they appeared to be. I didn't reply and I forwarded it to eBay.
