The Prime Minister Paul Martin-led Canadian Liberal Government is about to have a good laugh on the rest of us. With the help of Canadian Broadcasting Corporation (CBC) stooges, they’ve got it nailed down to a fine science.
The controversy over their backbench MP Carolyn Parrish grinding her boot on a George W. Bush doll on CBC’s satirical This Hour Has 22 Minutes tomorrow, could not have been carried off without Liberal government approval. CBC is a Crown Corporation–bought, paid for and sustained with millions of tax dollars by the Liberal Government in Ottawa.
The outrage of the government over the controversy as reported by the mainline media is as big a part of the act as Parrish’s stomping on the Bush doll.
That means that Carolyn Parrish is not a renegade or runaway Liberal backbencher MPP as she is described by media, but a docile puppet of the Canadian government.
For the hanging by a hair Ottawa Liberals, Parrish makes the perfect foil. A foil diverting a Canadian electorate taxpayers away from the ongoing multi-million dollar Liberal sponsorship scandal. With her ongoing antics, Parrish is also a foil that keeps members of Opposition Parties in line rather than strategizing to bring down a Liberal government clinging desperately to power only by virtue of their minority status.
The timing of stomping the Bush doll on public television couldn’t be more perfect for the Canadian feds. . . . .

Even worse, the out-take of the disgusting display involved her stabbing a Bush voo-doo doll in the head claiming that's where it would do the least amount of damage. The liberals and MSM are virtually handing the Conservatives a win in the next election.

I usually get angry when I hear about this sort of behavior, but not in this case. This is nothing more than a demonstration of the frustrated impotence that this woman feels. She doesn't matter in the grand scheme of things and she doesn't like it. This is very much like a three year old throwing a temper tantrum to get Mom or Dad to pay attention to him. We really should feel pity for her.

I am forced to agree that Canada has chosen to put itself generally on the "other side" in the war for western civilization. Canada is no longer a friendly neighbor and a borderline enemey.
Quite simply we cannot allow ourselves to pay much attention to the rantings and antics of nations that refuse to defend themselves and are determined to undermine our efforts to defend America.
Quite simply when you see something like the doll incident take the attitude of "consider the source".
The CBC management and production depts are chock full of homosexuals...they run the place and all on tax payers dollars. As a Canadian, also an American - sometimes I wish the US would invade central Canada [Ontario east and Quebec]...they hold the power and must be stopped. The good news is the Conservatives are on the come back as strong as ever Manitoba and west...also made good gains in Ontario. It has taken a long time for Canadians to forget Mulroney, who destroyed the Conservative party. Next election!
There are still some conservative Canadians and I do care about their fate. The less socialist our neighbour to the north becomes, the better.
Has anyone ever tried to privatise the CBC? It sounds like the CBC is PBS with higher funding levels. As for PBS, it is a boil waiting to be lanced.

Huzzah! Since we are on the topic of state supported braodcasting, why the h*ll do we continue to subsidise NPR and PBS? What purpose, really do either organisations serve aside from providing jobs for tired hippies and New Left graduates from communications departments in our nation's universities?
No, it is only that much of the media is a bunch of politically correct socialists, and too many Canadians have become silent with their views because they mistakenly think they are the minority because of the biased media.
And the Liberal Party has been infested with political correctness, supporting gay marriage, promoting gay "values" in our schools, and supporting gays adopting and rearing children, but it is no joke.
I do not. I see no use in having Pinkos for neighbours. After Canada becomes conservative, the next target will be Mexico. It is past time that Mexico drop all of that "progressive" crap left-over from its so-called revolutions of the 20th century.
