The Threat Matrix

The title refers to a daily report given to the president of the United States detailing the most serious terrorist threats against the country. To tackle those threats, the government has formed a top-notch task force to infiltrate the terror cells and cut off the danger.

"Every morning, the president receives a list of the top ten terrorist threats - this list is known as the threat matrix."

We here at FR are trying to be in conjunction with the daily reports around the world that involve threats. We try to provide a storehouse of information that takes hours of research.

Connect these dots, now
Full Story
"We should have secured the Mexican border."

That could be the pitiful lament we hear from negligent U.S. officials if Al Qaeda pulls off an attack on the United States using weapons of mass destruction smuggled across our southern frontier.

Were that horrendous event to happen, leaders in the administration and Congress would be justly hit with the same question that was perhaps unjustly cast at them and their predecessors after the unprecedented Sept. 11, 2001, terrorist attacks: Why didn't they connect the dots?

During his arrest he produced a fake I-D and admitted to entering the U-S illegally and purchasing fake social security cards at a Hispanic market.

hmmm, I wonder where I heard that before.

Not a big secret FBI! Why dont you drop the friggin hammer. 90% of all hispanic markets can get you whatever fake papers you want or at least tell you where to go for them.

Massive Winter Storm Strands Travelers
EVANSVILLE, Ind. - Frigid temperatures, blasting wind and more snow than some places normally see in a year left parts of the Midwest and South paralyzed Thursday, and transformed a section of highway in southern Indiana into a parking lot.

The winter storm dumped double-digits of snow from Ohio to Wyoming, the Texas Panhandle to the Great Lakes, disrupting pre-Christmas travel. Motorists in parts of Mississippi and Tennessee were warned Thursday to stay off highways iced up from freezing rain. Hundreds of thousands lost power in Ohio.

He thinks the Al Qaeda leadership is still planning new attacks in Pakistan and Saudi Arabia while hiding in Afghanistan.

IMHO they'll strike wherever they find an opportunity to kill Americans or coalition troops, and their own backyard is not exempt, or there would have been no mass graves found. No location on the planet is safe from Al Qaeda or its barbaric cult of followers.

Traffic on I-65 southbound between Henryville, Ind., and Sellersburg in southern Indiana was at a complete standstill Thursday morning, Dec. 23, 2004. He said the gang planned to bomb the American Consulate in Lahore.

And when they find him, they should put him somewhere he never sees the light of day again IMHO. His goal in life is to remove the light of life from as many as he can possibly kill.

The U.S. Coast Guard (news - web sites) icebreaker Neah Bay is framed by ice covered trees along the shore of Lake Erie as a flock of ducks fly overhead Monday, Dec. 20, 2004. The day before the official start of winter brought brisk winds and sub-freezing temperatures following a snowstorm that dumped up to a foot of snow on parts of northeast Ohio.
