The doctrine of the "hidden Imam" is also known as the "occultation".
The "grazing effect" will be seen in Texas - - outside San Antonio and just south of Houston.
The opposite of an occultation (a concealment) is an apocalypse (a revelation).

German police raid 30 sites linked to jihadist group
From the BBC, with thanks to Susan:
German police have raided more than 30 sites believed to be connected to a banned Islamic organisation, al-Aqsa. The raids happened a day after the country's top administrative court upheld a 2002 ban on the group.
The German government alleges that the charity raises funds for the Palestinian militant movement, Hamas.
Al-Aqsa, which says it raises funds to alleviate poverty, had won permission to continue fundraising on a temporary basis last year.
The raids were conducted on 34 sites in Berlin, Bremen, Lower Saxony and North Rhine-Westphalia.
The Interior Ministry says the police seized "extensive" materials.
The German Interior Minister, Otto Schily, said the raids had targeted sites connected with two groups suspected of taking over from al-Aqsa in 2002.
He said if the suspicions were confirmed, he would ban the new groups as well.

"German police foil 'terrorist' plot to kill Iraqi leader"
3 December 2004
ARTICLE SNIPPET: "BERLIN - An apparent bid by extremists to assassinate Iraqi interim Prime Minister Iyad Allawi on Friday was foiled after police arrested three suspected Iraqi terrorists, German Federal Prosecutor Kay Nehm said Friday.
"We saw a considerable threat to Allawi," said Nehm at a news conference in Karlsruhe, adding: "There were increasing indications an attack was being planned."
German Chancellor Gerhard Schroeder met Allawi in Berlin amid tight security after police earlier on Friday stormed nine apartments and business in Berlin, Stuttgart and Augsburg, arresting three members of the banned terrorist group Ansar al-Islam.
Nehm declined to say if those arrested had planned a bomb attack but he said telephone taps had alerted authorities and that parts of Allawi's two-day visit had been cancelled."

Raveendran - (AFP/File)
NEW DELHI (AFP) - Russia said it would welcome Indian and other companies bidding for the assets of Russian oil giant Yukos, the country's biggest oil exporter, due to be sold off later this month.

To me it appears that Putin is slowly taking over any of the competition.
This with Yukos is said now to be taxes, but was rather personal in the beginning.
Maybe, get all the competition out of the country.
They are also arming India...snips

Good story here about Los Alamos
SNIP: Two Missouri professors seeking ways to track civilian automobiles for General Motors have discovered a way to detect and conceivably even detonate so-called Improvised Explosive Devices," Soldiers for the Truth says. It sounds a lot like what the Army already has, in its Warlock series of radio frequency jammers.
Simply stated, the scientists have figured out a way to eavesdrop on the ether to detect ambient electronic noise floating around when the mad bombers set up their devices in preparation of setting off an ambush. Both the transmitter the insurgents need to send out a radio signal ordering the detonator to explode and the detonator itself, emit these radio signals.
