The Chicoms have been executing an encirclement strategy against America since the mid-90's. Haiti is only part of the problem.

The Chicoms also have bases in Cuba, Panama, South America, and just about anywhere you can think of that is strategic to our interests.

They already have a fair start in the pre-positioning of forces if a war should break out.

Its sobering

Here's what I found out about the Smyrna Airport.
Units:
Army Aviation Support Facility #1
4th Squadron, 278th Armored Calvary Regiment

Smyrna Airport currently operates as a joint use training facility with the Tennessee Army National Guard helicopter unit, AASF#1 (Army Aviation Support Facility #1). AASF#1 operates 60 helicopters with 300 full time National Guard personnel. The airport also serves as a C-130 training facility for the 118th Air Wing of the Air National Guard from Nashville as well as C-141 training from Memphis Air National Guard. Smyrna Airport also serves as a hurricane evacuation point for military facilities along the Gulf and East Coasts.

The Tennessee Army National Guard leases part of the airport to maintain the Grubbs/Kyle Training Center and 24 different units, 1,270 assigned National Guard personnel, 162 of which are full time, and numerous aircraft.

Here's the link for the above post, along with some more pertinent info.

http://www.globalsecurity.org/military/facility/smyrna.htm

Located twelve nautical miles south of Nashville Airport, Smyrna Airport is the "reliever" airport for Nashville. With over 1,700 acres, Smyrna Airport is the third largest airport in Tennessee and the busiest general aviation airport in Tennessee. Smyrna Airport users have, within ten miles, access to rail and three interstate systems which transverse Middle Tennessee. Smyrna Airport is located in the geographic center of Tennessee and more importantly the center of the eastern United States. Eighty percent of the United States population lives within a 700 mile radius of Smyrna. These factors influence the location of industry in the Smyrna area.

Well now that is an eye-opener.

It sure is, isn't it?

There's something very un-kosher about all this. Do you know who it was that posted earlier about this guy having visited several small airports? I haven't read back through today's posts to see who it was, but I'd like to know where they found that info. I haven't heard anything else about that, and I haven't been able to find their source for it.

Thank you. Here's something else from that link I posted. I'm trying to find out how "up-to-date" the info is, because this is sobering.

"The Smyrna Airport will become the site of a European freight hub that will later be expanded into tourism passenger service for chartered and packaged tours."

Just a thought...wouldn't the "peace keepers" in Haiti recognize the "significant presence" of the Chinese in Haiti?

We do still have "peace keepers" over there, right?

I don't think there are ANY American "Peace Keepers" there at all, now. I'm pretty sure that we've turned it all over to the UN. I'm NOT too sure they would report such a presence.

Tracking the Ghost of Bin Laden

The world's most wanted man took refuge in the crags and caves of Tora Bora's mountains along the Afghanistan-Pakistan border. The Pashtun people, who call this harsh land home, have made it one of the best hiding places on Earth
