Can you hear me now?

Airmen with the 90th Fighter Squadron take off in an F-15E Strike Eagle fighter at Elmendorf Air Force Base, Alaska, on Tuesday, for deployment to the western Pacific.

The flight was delayed in order that the Airmen could have lunch on Base because they universally dislike the in-flight meals with the most common complaint being that food always tastes so "plane."

A Marine with 3/5 Lima Company patrols the city of Fallujah, Iraq on Tuesday.

It seems that the city has been cleaned out of all the adversaries with the exclusion of the lefty reporters.

Briefly detained Iraqi civilians, caught in Fallujah, jump from the back of a Marine truck after being released in the town of Saqlawiyah on the outskirts of Fallujah on Tuesday.

A soldier with the 3rd Battalion, 21st Regiment of the Stryker Brigade cleans the gun on an armored vehicle inside the unit’s camp in northern Mosul, Iraq, on Wednesday.

Gosh, everyday it is the same old thing in these lunch boxes from the mess hall.

A B-52B launch aircraft lifts off with NASA’s X-43A hypersonic research aircraft and its modified Pegasus booster rocket attached under its right wing. NASA is attempting to break its own aircraft-speed record by flying the X-43A at about 7,000 mph, about 10 times the speed of sound. The launch was Tuesday at NASA Dryden Flight Research Center at Edwards Air Force Base, Calif.

In an effort to increase revenues, the Air Force has begun to allow corporate advertising on many of it's craft.

When it absolutely, positively, has to be there overnight!

A woman waves a national flag to soldiers aboard chartered fishing boats in Islamorada as they depart for a day of angling off the Florida Keys on Tuesday. About 60 military personnel took part in free fishing trips during the “Take a Soldier Fishing” program sponsored by Islamorada-area charter boats and other Keys business. All participating soldiers served either in Iraq or Afghanistan.

Meanwhile, in Chicago, the "Take a Soldier Burka Shopping" program was not received as enthusiastically.

National Guard Sgt. Kevin Larrabee weighs a mackerel he caught near Islamorada, off the Florida Keys, on Tuesday.
