Themeless Thursday. Well, if what I've read so far is any indication it seems today is going to be "pick-on-Queenie" day. The first thing I want to do is call FOUL on writer33. SO............

Un-necessary roughness on Queenie. 15 yard penalty. Writer33, you are on TIME OUT. 15 minutes!

Ok, now on to other things. Got to get my priorities straight this morning. Let's see.......play at Canteen.....do some work.........play at Canteen.....do some work.........play.....play.....eat lunch.......play at Canteen.....do some work.........That seems about right.

Now, gotta make my rounds and say howdy before it's off to the Work part.

Good morning EG. (((HUGS))). It looks like we are going to get at least some of the rain that has moved through your area. They are calling for rainy days off-n-on for almost a week. Looks like we may have a rainy Thanksgiving. Yuck!

It FINALLY quit raining yesterday PM.
We had almost 8" at my house.
Lake Travis is @ 688 and rising - 7' above "full".

No kidding... Here are some pictures of the flooding with original captions. The first one is where a lady and her friend drove into Sunday. The water depth guage had been bent over by the force of the water. She is still missing.

Two more guys drove into the same water yesterday AM, and had to be rescued. They were arrested after their rescue for driving past the barricades. Serves them right.

Floodwaters of the Blanco River completely cover the Post Road Bridge between Kyle and San Marcos on Wednesday. A woman was swept away along with her car at this location Tuesday.

The LCRA opened nine of ten flood gates on the Max Starcke Dam in Marble Falls, Wednesday afternoon creating a rainbow.
