Barnyard Animals for Truth helped Biskets and Gravy WIN!!!
White House Rose Garden ^ | 11-17-04 | President Bush

Posted on 11/17/2004 8:34:23 AM PST by Matchett-PI

[Excerpt transcribed by me from my videotape]

President Bush's remarks:

"...The voters cast ballots on the White House website. It was a close race -- you might say it was neck and neck.

When all the votes were counted, Biskets, and his running mate, Gravy, prevailed over the ticket of Patience and Fortitude.

The Vice President and I are here to congratulate Biskets for a race well run.

It came down to a few battleground states. It was a tough campaign.

Even some 527's got involved -- including "Barnyard Animals for Truth".

There was a scurrilous film that came out called, "Farenheit 375 degrees @ 10 minutes per pound".

[But] now's the time for healing ..... ...for the sake of our feathered guests ...."...

The 2004 Thanksgiving Turkey is then pardoned by President Bush.

He wanted the wild turkey for the national bird. They are cunning critters; ever tried to hunt one?

LOL!!!!

I live across the road from a chicken farm - but you have more "hands on" experience than I, so I concede to your superior knowlege.

I like to joke about my nearest neighbors being 150,000 chickens. Except it's not a joke............

Is there a dumber bird on the planet than the domesticated turkey?

Well, his cousins the wild turkeys are a few feathers short in the smarts dept. too. I had to totally stop in the middle of the road the other day as 5 of these silly things walked down the middle of the road. Crawling up on them and giving them a blast from my horn didn't even phase them. I finally drove up on the shoulder to get around 'em. Wild turkeys are really easy kill because they don't see humans as a threat, I guess..

I think he's learned to hold on to the head after the first turkey he pardoned pecked him in an unmentionable area.......quite a surprised look on "W" face IIRC

I'd say that is a good bet

Plus he was holding the Turkey's neck when the children came up to pet it

But I'm sure there will be some that jump to the wrong conclusion
