Libertarians=Greens.
'Nuff said.

After Badnarik's commercials attacking GWB and now this, I think it is safe to say that the Libertarians can no longer be considered friends on any level. Those who have libertarian leanings, like many of us do -- myself included -- must now come to realize that the Libertarian Party has become an enemy of their own aspirations.

This is perhaps why the founder of the Libertarian Party denounced Badnarik and implored Libertarians to support Bush in the election. The Libertarians have obviously been hijacked by the radical left.

What baffles me is why Cobb, whose sole reason for being on the ballot was to derail the candidacy of Ralph Nader, continues to press this futile endeavor, even after his patron-John Kerry-has become a political cadaver.

It's understandable that the Libertarian, true to form, is acting like a petulant, resentful snot, but what on Earth is the rationale behind Cobb's attempt to fleece the taxpayers of Ohio?

Every time I take one of those on line quizzes that is supposed to tell you where you are politically, I find my deeply in libertarian territory. Every time I actually see where the Libertarians really stand, I realize that I'll always be a Republican.

Yep, I reached the same conclusion, myself. They just crossed the line far as I'm concerned.

It may have started with Bill Mahr.

The Republicans may not be as much the Stupid Party as they were, but the Libertarians have become the Dope Party.

Most assuredly so.

This is very true.

How do you come to that conclusion? What other candidate actually held for the principles of the Founders? Certainly not Bush who is anything but conservative. Obviously not Kerry or Nader. The only close one is Peroutka and he made religion too big a part of his campaign. He would have frightened away any secular voter, even though they agreed with him. The ONLY choice was Badnarik.

FReepers will have to learn what is clear to me. Bush is going to go down in history as one of the worst ever presidents. I just hope we survive 4 years under his rule as a free nation-definitely not a sure thing.

Go learn about enemy combatants, the New Freedom Initiative, the Medicare drug benefit, the Patriot act and who knows what is coming in the next year and tell me that he is a conservative.

Note: New Freedom Initiative equals mandatory screening of school children and adults that work in schools for mental illness. It is within days of passing through congress. Is that how free nations treat their citizens?
