The election is over and conservatives have achieved strong victories. We obviously have retained the White House but we also have widened our majority in Congress. So many accomplishments beg the question: whats next?
In some ways, many conservative political junkies are sad to bid farewell to this intriguing campaign. In the final days of the election, I sat down to think of what will I do when it is finished. I, like many, felt for sometime that the exciting part of politics has ended; everything that follows is out of the hands of fellow conservatives and me. The answer that has come up is that now that Republicans have a victory, we must now strengthen these leads. The most important campaign is occurring now. We must show America how Republicans can lead and we conservatives must remain united as we were during the re-election effort. Now is not the time to falter since the future of our country depends on us just like in the election.
There was a poll on the REPUBLICAN VOICES website which asked readers what they want us to do now that President Bush has won re-election. We intend to do everything on the list except for resting. REPUBLICAN VOICES will fight liberal indoctrination in public schools all the way, fight liberal efforts to block President Bush's Supreme Court nominees, and make the bloggers superior to the media once and for all. Now that the campaign is out of the way, our road to victory begins.
Achieving these goals will not be easy, but we must succeed because our goals are the very reason we have fought so hard for this administration. Clearly, most liberals are not ready to unite with the rest of America and start healing the wounds of a divided nation. Thus, the time has come to set apart our differences on particular policy issues and make sure that by the end of these four years all of the state Republican committees in the United States is controlled by conservatives.
We have been awarded trust by the American people in this election and now that our majorities have been substantially widened, conservative activity will lead to an end to the liberal agenda set up by the public schools. Imagine a day when students are taught patriotism in public schools as opposed to the National Council of Social Studies reading stories like My Name is Osama. Imagine a day when justices who actually interpret the Constitution are appointed to the Supreme Court without the liberal litmus test. Most importantly, imagine a day when Americans will turn their backs to CNN and cable news and depend on their news from blogs.
These are all dreams for now, but we can make it happen. In the next four years, we have everything it takes on our road to policy victory: the intellectual front and the field front. On our side, we have Ann Coulter and Ken Mehlman. Our opponents include the obese fat food victim, Michael Moore. Now is the time to win. Conservatives will take back America within these four years and Samuel Adams will exclaim from his grave, Oh, what a glorious morning is this!

Wow at 12 I was playing ball at recess.
Now if they can only get more girls to get abortions... and don't doubt this 'conservative' government behemoth won't try.
#1 goal, restore freedom of speech, freedom of association, and freedom of religion.
This is more beurocratic democrat unelected pencil pushers sabotaging before they get fired.
This is no differnt than the Clintonistas removing all the "W" from the keyboards.
Democrats need to feel the civil service to protect their pensions via early retirement.
They will not get fired
all too true.
With 1 in 4 DC inhabitant being a lawyer, I am VERY willing to bet the lawyers "for" the military were palls with the ACLU lawyers. This idiotic opinion may have even been a "friendly" suite to acieve a result desired by both parties of lawyers.
Freep Congress to reinstall the 1995 "pay as you go" Federal budget rules.
We need Emil to help fight Specter. :)
