At the end of the questioning process, the potential donee has a private opportunity to place a bar-coded sticker on the questionaire that indicates whether their blood should be used or not used.
The Red Cross has been doing this for years.
I've donated over 12 gallons of blood and 15 gallons of platelets over the years.

Rules are for the little people, Hillary gives blood too.

Well, whaddya know...... a Democrat giving (potentially) dirty blood - and then there's Yassir giving blood after 9/11 and (probable) dying of AIDS just 3 years later - things that make you go "Hmmmmmmmmmmmmmm.....".

I'm trying to figure out if this is ickier than arafart (who may have died from AIDS) donating blood in a PR stunt after the so-called palis were partying in the streets on 9/11.

There's a reason those who bat for the other team aren't supposed to donate blood.
Hopefully, McGreevy is clean.

Reality check:
How many people here really beliebe he is gay, and how many people can see through the diversion to know he is covering something worse?
To: BroncosFan
denied the opportunity to donate even when employers offered awards and prizes in a blood drive. Why is it all about getting something in return? Gay marriage is all about the tax break, too. Selfish people.

Not necessarily true. If Mr. McGreevey had answered the confidential questions truthfully, they would still take his blood if he likes and chuck it when he leaves. That's what they do to prevent people from giving blood under false pretenses just to save face, as the article presumes McGreevey did.

Its certainly possible that he lied and gave the blood, but I don't think its charitable to think the worst of him without more proof.
