America must recognize that "much of Islam is fighting us, and more is leaning that way." I have not read Imperial Hubris, but some of what this article says seems to also be supported by the writings of Yossef Bodansky.
According to Bodansky, the insurgency in Iraq has much popular support both in Iraq and in the rest of the Muslim world.
I thought it telling the other day when the father of the little girl with the life-threatening hemangiomas wouldn't let his face be shown or his name be used, for fear of retribution when he returns to Iraq. That doesn't sound as if most of the Iraqis are glad to have us there to me.

It makes you sick to the stomach learning we have people like this in high places in our intelligence agencies. Yes it does ... but by writing this book, he proved what many were saying about some in the CIA and that it needs to clean house ASAP

I just saw this guy on with Aaron Brown; this is the second time I've heard him say there were 8 to 10 times "they" thought bin Laden could have been caught and the "adminstration" didn't do anything about it.
One thing he hasn't mentioned is the word "Clinton."
He's on MSNBC right now.

I saw the end of his interview with Chris and couldn't help but notice how he couldn't answer a lot of Chris' question
Like .. Sir, I do not know .. I wasn't in the room ... I wasn't privy to that information .. My knowledge to Iraq is limited

Bump to everything you said.
I am no longer worried about Arlen Specter; he can be contained.
THIS is what should be worrying the hell out of us.

Well, FGS, if they bin Laden desk had bin Laden in their sights, ready for capture or worse, it sure wasn't in the Bush years. We'd have heard about THAT for sure by now, don't you think?

"The degree of the author's appeasement mentality is so shocking as to validate Bush's CIA housecleaning"![](http://216.77.188.54/coDataImages/p/Groups/224/224535/folders/164132/1273085USA-09.gif)
It's more than just appeasement. The CIA actively campaigned *against* a sitting President. They leaked Abu Ghraib, missing explosives, and our global tactics. Senator Kerry even bragged that he had his "own" intelligence briefings quite apart from what was given to President Bush.
That's beyond outrageous, that's treason. The CIA committed treason by trying to bring down President Bush.
Moreover, the entire agency is incompetent. The CIA *missed* the crumbling of the Soviet Union. The CIA *missed* India's nuclear tests. The CIA missed 9/11. The CIA failed to capture Bin Laden. The CIA failed to even identify the anthrax terrorists.
How can the CIA get any worse than actively engaging in overt, open treason while simultaneously bungling their day jobs of knowing what the rest of the world is doing?!
How can they be worse?

What an idiot. We lay down and die and we will be swamped sooner or later. We fight now or fight later. to win this war we must:
- Bring a coalition of anti-Slammies together. This would include: Israel, the UK, Australia, Russia, India, Thailand, CAmbodia, the Phillipines, Serbia, Croatia, Italy, the Netherlands
- Drag/force the rest of Europe (bar Turkey), South and Central America and southern Africa into joining this coalition
- Try and compell the Confucian states of Japan, China and Korea to join us along with New Zealand etc.
- Throw out ALL slammies from these countries
- Invade the slamic world en masse
- forcibly convert ALL of them -- whether to Christianity, Hinduism, Buddhism, Zoroastrianism, whatever
- Nuke Meccca and Madinah
- Destroy every terrorist meeting ground (aka mosque)
- Burn every Qran and tell the world about the evil written in it
