Was not the reporter under the duty to hand over this tape to military authorities,under the rules of imbeds? If that's the case then strong measures should be taken against Sites. Also has Sites been removed from that Marine unit,because at this point i"m sure his presence is a distraction to the Marines and therefore endangers their lives. Sites has to be removed from that unit at the very least.

yeah, I see TSR-Dog went on quite a streak prior to getting banned... He sent me a heck of a tirade repleat with personal attacks and all.... I will admit that I cannot understand why both him and 2 other poster decided to deride me for making the comment in the begining of this thread that Sites should have been pulled for safety reason... I have been attack by three different posters for making those comments.. I don't mind they made their points, but seem to miss my point completly...This is obviously a hot button issue for some people.
Yeah, I saw his rapid fire pulled comments culminating in his DNC talking point of 'you red staters leach welfare from us bluestaters' crap.
I know I'm late in coming to the table but I'd like to amend the above statement:

Seriesly. Our men have a job to do, and that job is tough enough without having to be concerned with the safety of reporters--not just Sites, but all reporters. FCOL, does anyone remember what the bonehead Rivera did? He jeopardized the safety of troops and still our troops must ensure the safety of the imbeds! They should ALL be removed!!!
Most of us already enlisted, were enlisted, or currently are.

The Summer of 2002, my future SIL's son's girlfriend was over here and I was doggie sitting a small pooch (Jeffy) for a friend. He was an aging, but very smart and friendly fella, and she went over the moon over him.Well, a few weeks later, they came over to my place and she had a 6 week old puppy. He was so cute, soft and fuzzy and warm. You could hold him in your hands quite easily.
Problem was that it was a Yellow Lab, haha!
I told her that he would get to be a pretty big dog and really wasn't an indoor dog like Jeffy was.
They kept him for a couple of months and reality sank in. She was out of her apartment most of the time, so he became quite a character in the apartment.
So guess who ended up with Elwood? Yep. Yours truly. I named him Elwood because my brother had a dog named Jake. (The Blues Brothers, Jake and Elwood).
I had him for about 3 months or so while I tried to find a permanent home for him. A neighbor about 4 doors down adopted him and they have little kids. So now he has a nice home and I get to see Elwood on occasion.
A great ending to this story. All's well that ends well. :^)
