These people are incurable. It's that simple. Liberalism is a terminal illness for the soul.
Who knows, I wouldn't even call what we are fighting "soldiers".
Soldiers are uniformed, and follow Rules of Engagement.
These guys are dressed in civilian clothes, pretend surrender, boobytrap wounded, hide behind civilians, intentionally target civilians, and all this garbage.
Maybe Matthews meant IF we were fighting "soliders", a rival, not "bad guys" (like we are).. THEN what would you say about it.
Of course it woudl be a hypothetical since we are not fighting a 'rival' we are fighting pure EVIL.
Frankly, when anyone presumes to utilize those sorts of tactics, they fundamentally abdicate any claims to protections under the "rules of war".
Matthews is a nitwit. And if you hadn't watched him last night, his audience would have been cut by well over 30%

He also seems to think all the 'insurgents' are Iraqi, even tho most of the press, (at least in Iraq) are saying they are FOREIGN terrorists.
Most of those captured are from outside the country.

Hey Christine! They have been using white flags pretending to surrender. They have been planting IEDs in dead bodies, they have been beheading innocent men and women, they gutted a woman and chopped off her legs, they shot and killed many US soldiers they had captured.

Sorry, can't help you with this one. You understand him perfectly. I heard this last night. It propelled me right out of my chair. They are NOT bad guys??? They blow up and behead the innocent. They want the deaths of not just our military, but all of us. Nice to know which side Matthews is on.
I guess the "insurgents" reaaly must have disagreed with the woman they kidnapped awhile back. She had her arms and legs cut off, her face mutilated and her throat cut.

Mathews certainly seems to have some sympathy for terrorists. So I won't spend too much time trying to understand exactly what point he's trying to make in this case -- it doesn't really matter.
At the very least, it's a serious mental illness.
Well, to give Matthews a break, his mouth is always running ten times faster than his brain. He probably doesn't even know what he said or meant.

How about televised beheadings? How about the torture chambers our troops found? And the torture victims? Why does he raise their criminality as a hypothetical? What is wrong with this man?

I wonder if those that have been beheaded agree with Matthews' point. Thank God, liberals are no longer in power. The more they speak, the more it is understood they must be kept in their "time-out" and the adults need to stay in charge.

In that case let Chris go over, and allow himself to be taken hostage/guest until the disageement can be worked out. How long before his head is seperated from his torso?

You have to understand, the leftists are in full meltdown mode at this point. They'll do or say ANYthing anti-American to try to win over what they see as "their" demographic. If Matthews were hosting a popular show, it would be a tad dangerous and scary, but since he's on MSNBC with an audience of, oh, 50,000 a night, he really isn't hurting much.
Matthews is sad, pathetic, useless, a poor excuse for a human being, and generally a waste of oxygen. But he's not harmful, unless someone were to injure themselves by dislocating a finger while pointing and laughing at him.
