Just phoned. The person I spoke to was VERY grateful for the call. When I asked how people like us can show their support for the Marine, he said I just did, by calling them. So please call!
Folks, this is not an easy job. These soldiers are young, they're dodging bullets and figthing an enemy that booby-traps themselves and pretending they're injured to lure soldiers into a trap. On the day of this incident, another solder was killed and 2 wounded as a result of a booby-trapped insurgent pretending to be injured. What the hell are these Marines supposed to do!
Furthermore, from the video it is clear the soldier was not aware of the fact the man was injured since he shouted "He's faking death!". Why would he say that if he knew the man was injured? It's bizarre.

I called and logged my support for this marine. The young marine on the phone was very appreciative. He said he would have done the same thing and that he hoped the media would not try to make a lot out of this.
