I'm going to start with a communication of support of this young Marine, to the Commandant of the Marine Corps himself. Then, President Bush and my Senator/Congressman.They are going to hear from me and I have all friggin day to do it. I am so livid about this that words cannot describe. As a former Marine myself, this young "Leather" was doing what he was trained to do, adapting to unreasonable circumstances (enemy tricks) and he did exactly what I would have done and what has always been done with a fanatical enemy. If authorities hang this Marine out to dry, I will never stop raising hell and will become a point man for pulling these guys out of theater entirely...MSM is SICK. Other suggestions?

The one who should be disciplined is the one who allowed NBC to film this OR didn't have controls in place to ensure that footage like this wasn't shown.

It's inexplicable to me how that the CNN website (along with other major news outlets) will be willing to show this killing, but can't show ANY video (as far as I know) of any of the be-heading of hostages or some previous videos of our soldiers being killed because they are "too graphic" or might "inflame" the public. I guess they only care about inflaming the Arab public. MSM to Marines: "we blame America first, last, and foremost" ... how sad and demoralizing to our troops.... not that they (MSM) care....

Just phoned. The person I spoke to was VERY grateful for the call. When I asked how people like us can show their support for the Marine, he said I just did, by calling them. So please call!
Folks, this is not an easy job. These soldiers are young, they're dodging bullets and figthing an enemy that booby-traps themselves and pretending they're injured to lure soldiers into a trap. On the day of this incident, another solder was killed and 2 wounded as a result of a booby-trapped insurgent pretending to be injured. What the hell are these Marines supposed to do!
Furthermore, from the video it is clear the soldier was not aware of the fact the man was injured since he shouted "He's faking death!". Why would he say that if he knew the man was injured? It's bizarre.
