Pandemonium broke out during the taping of Vibe magazine's award show last night, when a man was stabbed during the ceremony, sending stars fleeing from the mayhem in their limos. The violence broke out as rapper Dr. Dre rose to accept the Vibe Legend Award from presenters Quincy Jones and Snoop Dogg, a witness at the Santa Monica event told The Post.
An unidentified man sitting with Death Row Records chief Marion "Suge" Knight lunged toward Dr. Dre with a knife but members of rapper 50 Cent's entourage intervened, the witness said.

The witness said that the production, co-hosted by supermodel Tyra Banks and rapper L.L. Cool J was immediately shut down and celebrities were spirited out of the ceremonies, being held at Santa Monica Airport's Barker Hanger.
"It was pure panic," the witness said. "I never saw anything like it. Those cars were flying out of here. Russell Simmons ran out of here crying."
Another witness told MTV that Knight had run onto the stage, screaming obscenities at the audience of about 1,000. Several people in the crowd were pepper-sprayed, the network reported.

"boy, when you die at the palace, you really DIE at the palace."
Rap is crap and so are the people involved.
It seems unlikely that Suge would order this in plain sight. I tend to think that that guy did this on his own. i don't imagine Suge would want to go back to jail.
Music of peace.

"...funny as hell to watch these white kids pretend to be from "the hood"...climbing out of Mom's Van or SUV..."
Couldn't agree with you more! Check out Post# 69 earlier in this thread for my observation on these wayward kids...

LOL....... sounds like our old neighborhood............ ;^)
Before this gets all blown out of proportion, we should remind ourselves that this could happen at any awards show. In fact, who could forget the infamous '39 Oscars when Jimmy Stewart dissed Clark Gable's lady and the two threw down right there by the dais, and then pandemonium ensued as emcee Bob Hope started hurling his invective at the East Coast crews?
I'll try to freepmail you tomorrow TT. I can really relate to what you have been/are/will be goin thru.
Morons.
I dunno man, Snoopy looked pretty scared. fo shizzle
Actions must be viewed in the light if one's intent. When we correct a 3 yr old because he's putting his hand on a hot oven top, it's not because we don't love him. My step son had better figure it out soon, or he's going to have a tough road ahead. I've told him this as well, assuring him that we as parents ask him to do or not do certain things with HIS best interests at heart, not because we want to keep him from having friends and fun.
When I try to look at the intent of the "rappers & gangstas", I see no intent except laziness, selfishness and self-gratification, with no regard for anyone else. To emulate this trashiness leads to nothing good or lasting. How the hell did this crap get so popular? The boys will do anything to impress the girls, and the girls must think the "bad-boy" lifestyle is SO COOL. Don't they stop for a minute and realize that THEY will be the targets of this violence, abuse and so on?? Last week on some news show the host had a female psychologist on, and asked her what is wrong with the HUNDREDS of women who have written and called in to say how HOT they thought Scott Peterson was. What idiots. Yea, Scott gets me all moist also. Unbelieveable...
